Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Never knew the context behind this great Undertaker quote, but I'm finally on that episode of Raw.
"Although I don't dress like Satan anymore, I'm still down with the devil and I will go medieval on your ***."
Tazz with such a corny but funny moment.
Tazz: What's your name?
Lillian: Lillian
Tazz: What's this? (Pointing at his face)
Lillian: Nose.
Tazz: And what's in my hand?
Lillian: Nothing.
Tazz: Exactly! Lillian knows nothing!Last edited by Majingir; 04-27-2021, 09:50 PM.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Who knows if this moment will get erased from Peacock, but I can't stop laughing at this line.
That whole segment was great. Everyone accusing everyone of running down Austin.
Such a funny sights seeing all these future hall of famers. Undertaker, Foley, Rock, HHH, Jericho, Angle, Stephanie, Xpac.....and then randomly Essa Rios.
Something I never knew happened. Too Cool dancing with the Dudleys AND APA! Nowadays people would hate on stuff like that for being so cheap and out of character, but fans loved when other stars joined in.
And something that would never fly today. HHH speculating on Angles relationship with SMH. Suggesting perhaps Angle isn't attracted to her, but rather being her "alternative lifestyle" friend.....not that there's anything wrong with that, it's the 21st century. And maybe Angle does have a crush....on HHH? But during a match on SD, they do the low blow spot where HHH runs into Angle, Angle counters, HHH falls on the ground, and Angles head goes down low, and HHH realizes it and freaks out thinking Angle did it on purpose.Last edited by Majingir; 05-01-2021, 10:30 PM.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Unforgiven 2000 was a nice PPV, but those backstage moments were great.
Austin's return, and we see Austin and Rock meet up backstage, they shake hands, and fans go crazy.
Austin and SMH backstage meeting, Stephanie gives Austin his hat back, and Austin starts mocking her. "THANKS! I GOT MY HAT BACK! I still don't know who ran me over, but I got my hat back, so I guess I can go home."
And immediately after, HHH and Foleys interaction.
HHH: I know we haven't seen eye to eye
Foley: We had some wars.
HHH: I won most of them.
Foley: But not all!
King/JRs banter is always fun.
King: I can't help but notice the look on Stephanie's face.
JR: If you're telling me that you're looking at a beautiful woman and all you're looking at is her face, that'll be a first!
I never knew Austin debuted his Disturbed theme in 2000. I always remember it for the Invasion.
That Shane stunner was so good.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
For as much as we know about The Miz's career, how he got there, how he was hated, etc, there was still some interesting stuff in his WWE 24. The fact he brought him a bad report card and his Dad didn't get mad, just called his own son stupid and dumb lol.
The sad and scary thing is that he doesn't even remember his Mania 27 match when he got the concussion. It was scary listening to Taker say the same thing about his Mania match with Brock but damn, that has to suck to not remember the only mania main event you were apart of.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Maybe I don’t know where to look but it doesn’t seem like adding the archived shows is a big priority. I’ve found three seasons of Nitro, and a handful of episodes of WCW Saturday Night and Superstars. All of Raw is upComment

I know of some stories of players in sports 15-20+ years ago talking about getting a concussion and legitimately not even remembering the entire championship series.
As much as it sucked that it took something like that, Benoit is THE example of what could go wrong with too many head injuries. To this day I still don't like seeing a guy like Daniel Bryan doing the diving headbutt. That move should be banned.Comment

Especially in this day and age where people are aware of all the things like that, still crazy hearing people comment saying they dont remember various things in their career, and we know exactly why.

It looks beautiful, but I agree. Benoit, Bigelow, Dynamite Kid...yeah usually doesn’t end well with guys doing that. I’m honestly surprised Danielson and Edge could come back after both having those neck issues.PSN ID - A_Dubya13Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Just watched the "Inaugural episode of Raw on TNN". They really stacked that show.
Between USA vs TNN/Spike, I think I liked Raw during the TNN/Spike days more than USA days in the past or present.
Jericho vs Xpac in a first blood match. Even though its the AE, I dont think we had as many matches like this as people think.
Edge/Christian vs Hardys in a tag title ladder match. Edge and Christian entered first, and tried using their entrance to set up a ladder and grab the titles, but the Hardys managed to come down quick enough to stop them. I never realized that exact spear off the ladder spot that we all know most from WM17 was actually done here.
Kings comments about Chynas playboy cover is what you'd expect. "I'd love to stand up right now...but I can't".
Regal reading Hamlet on Raw. Austin comes in, hits a stunner, and leaves, all in 20 or so seconds.
Rock vs Benoit for the WWF title. Hebner with one of the funnier ref moments on TV. Shane pulled his leg to stop a count. So Hebner gets up, full sprint he jumps out of the ring and starts chasing Shane.Comment
