    Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread

I feel like Peacock has a lot more documentaries than The Network. Am I wrong?

I felt the same way when they started putting up all those old Coliseum Home Videos in the last week or so, but I think (?) it's still the same stuff that was on the old Network, but WWE never really made an effort to feature it.

Now with Peacock's unorganized pile of content we see it all laid out so it looks like more.

Yup, the coliseum videos were what threw me off.

Hell yeah, I’ve been waiting for all the old NWA stuff to get added before I join and it’s finally there

I didn't see one for July and there hasn't been one for August (yet?). They would usually post it within the first few days of the month, so it's anyone's guess what's going on.

So my cable company gives Peacock Premium to its customers at no additional cost. I finally had a chance to delve back into the Network for the first time since Peacock took over.

Is this just me or did these mfers really ruin this service with ads throughout an entire episode of Raw/Smackdown/etc. on demand and then the cardinal sin, ads in ppvs on demand. I went to watch the 2016 Royal Rumble and there were like 8 commercial breaks in there. Do I have to pay for an additional tier of Peacock to get rid of that **** or did they really just decide to **** it up this way?

You need the $9.99 tier to get rid of the ads

That’s weak. If you have premium no way should you have to pay more to get rid of ads. Thanks for the answer tho. Appreciate it

I just looked up the tiers. That is messed up.

You have Peacock Premium. Well guess what...Peacock Premium isn't premium. Peacock Premium Plus is Premium. Sounds simple right?

I wouldn't be surprised seeing that in the future.

Imagine Disney Plus Premium and then Disney Plus Premium Plus tiers.

In your case, the name is simply the misleading part. If Preimum Plus called Premium, and Premium was called Basic, there'd be no complaints.

From what I read, Free and Premium have the same number of ads, but premium just had more content available on demand. Premium vs premium plus is same offering, except plus has ad free.

Premium gets you the exclusive shows. $4.99

Premium Plus gets you ad free $9.99

I remember something else costing $9.99 for ad free…..oh yeah the WWE Network.

I still think it's a great deal though, despite the horrible new interface (the network everyone else gets is probably my fave interface of all streaming services. I love how easy you can find shows, and skip to specific moments within a show).

If you watch lots of on demand content, $9.99 isn't costing you any more than before. If you just watch PPVs and stuff like that, the 4.99 price sounds like a nice deal.

Calm down Vince I don’t need you shilling for WWE.

Premium implies you’re paying for a premium service. As Maj pointed out it doesn’t really make sense to have premium and premium plus. It’s especially ridiculous the number of ads you’re getting at premium level. If you’re going 3 tiers and the free Peacock tier gets you some stuff but not everything and ads cool. If Premium then got you access to Network, The Office etc. then I could live with an ad at the beginning of the program, maybe one somewhere in the middle and then one at the very end. Then your 3rd tier is ad free I’d be fine with that. But a 2016 Raw had 6 or 7 ads throughout. Royal Rumble had 6 ads at random points of the PPV that is absurd no matter how you slice it.

The amount might be annoying, but from the chart I saw, premium and free have the same number of ads (5 mins for every hour).

Maybe that should change? Although you know if it does, it won't be the middle tier getting a reduction, it'll be the free tier basically being treated like a TV network with 10+ mins of commercials per hour.
