It looked like AJ just took the bump a little too late.

The only one that would be upset would probably be Natalya. From what I understand, she gets upset with everything, though.

That being said, what a fantastic Raw. I loved the Wyatt's match, Paul Heymans promo, Shield v Corporate Evolution, and the new Cesaro-Heyman connection. It's really great to see so many feuds playing out at once again... Feels awesome. Love the dawning of this new era.

Natalya should probably develop any sort of on-screen personality at all if she'd like another title run.

The Paige Turner is a really weak finisher even when both women are in sync, but they needed that for the quick shock pin. I'm sure she'll go to the submission more often now.

Could she go the CM Punk route and take her ball and go home?

Yes, but the People's Elbow is an elbow. He beat CM Punk's 400-some day reign with an elbow drop.

It's wrestling. I don't put much stock in finishers being "devastating" or not.

You guys are kinda picking apart the aj/Paige segment, and there were a lot of problems with it(Paige acting like a scared little girl, which has never been her character, aj botching the finisher, a one minute match instead of getting both of them over with a long great bout), but I'm going to appreciate it for what it was: a huge debut for a great talent that should have the rocket strapped to her back, but we'll see.

On a side note: can't wait to see the scorpion cross lock on raw or a ppv. Hopefully whatever crowd she does that in front of appreciates it.

                        Very good point.

That makes sense in theory (being that we know it's a scripted event), but there has to be some kind of 'wow factor' (be it impactful or theatrical) to a finisher; otherwise what's the point of it being the finisher?

Yeah, the Paige Turner is pretty mediocre. I'm a big fan of Paige, but her submission is definitely the way to go moving forward. Last night called for a little quicker "shock factor" move, and that's why the Paige Turner was used. Her submission is legit though, and like someone else mentioned, I can't wait to see it on RAW/SD/PPV. The diva's division hasn't had this much promise in years, and while I still really don't get into it much, it's great to see!
