      TMZ reports that The Ultimate
      Warrior
was seen clutching his chest moments before he collapsed at an
Arizona hotel on Tuesday, according to their law enforcement sources who spoke
      with eye witnesses.

They report that Warrior was walking down a hallway at the Gainey Suites
Hotel in Scottsdale, AZ, headed toward his car with his wife, when he stopped,
clutched his chest and went down. He never recovered.
Sources told TMZ that officials believe Warrior suffered a "catastrophic
medical event" and so far, there is no evidence to show drugs or alcohol were a
factor in his death. All signs point to a massive heart attack. An investigation
is underway and an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.<!--INFOLINKS_OFF-->

      Damn. Massive heart attack likely

When someone who abused drugs, even though its been decades, can end a life early. I have a lot of good memories of the Ultimate Warrior, RIP.

Had to watch Warrior vs. Hogan before calling it a day last night. Say what you will about his ring work, but he gave it his all in there. Him beating Hogan was everything to many of us as kids. So big that news outlets reported the outcome during their sports segment. Wish the best to his wife and two little girls.

Still cannot believe this is true. Rest in power Warrior.

I was trawling youtube and happened to see a video from a young lady and she was totally broken up over his death to the point that it got misty in my room. I was thinking some more about his speech on RAW which I did get a chance to see earlier today and the HOF speech and it's just eerie how he mentioned how he blew himself up so much in the ring that at times the only thing he could hear was the rapid beating of his heart. The man basically took years out of his life by pushing his heart and body to such extremes.

Bautista tweeted he was finally able to tell Warrior that his (Bautista's) rope shake was in homage to him.

              I did not know that.

Saw this thread and couldn't believe it. Read a few pages and stepped away, came back here and it's still unreal. You see a guy three days in a row give lively speeches and looking like he's enjoying every second of it and the next thing you know it he's gone, so crazy.

I wasn't around for his career and I didn't watch when Eddie or Benoit happened so I can't compare or relate like some of you, but at least Warrior got the chance to make peace and get honoured for his work before it was too late.
That's not an insult, THAT is just a fact of life.

As I got older I learned about all of his crazy behind the scenes and lack of real talent like others. But as a kid during the his peak who still thought wrestling was real he was one of my favorites like everyone else. I still have a picture of hiim hanging in my house from my childhood days.

Tuesday morning at 8:39 am, I had posted on Facebook "Never throw away a chance to say "I love you" to the people you care about because we aren't promised tomorrow." and that's because of moments like this. You never know when you're going to go. You can look healthy one day and not wake up the next. You can be walking down the hall, getting ready to go home after just spending the weekend clearing the air and making amends for previous mistakes and your heart can go.

                    RIP Ultimate Warrior.

From an article about UW in Bleacher Report:
"In a 1999 deposition, (PACER Case 2:06-cv-00535-ROS, Document 180-1) he addressed this in the context of his father's passing at 57 years old three years earlier. “I’m thinking about, you know — I just had my 37th birthday. I got 20 years left in my life maybe. I mean, you know, I’m doing these calculations in my head. My grandfathers die at 52.”

See, I always figured that Batista's rope shake was a homage to Warrior's, but it is nice that he finally admitted it.

I was stunned to find out about this last night. I mean, the night before, he was on Raw, giving a classic Warrior promo. I'm still trying to comprehend what has happened, even with all of the facts out there in the open.
