Wow sounds like the game will be a must own.

No titles is a bit of a disappointment tho. Oh well I can live with it.

I believe one of the old N64 WWF games had defending title belts in exhibition. I just can't remember if it was Wrestlemania, No mercy, or the other.

It was Wrestlemania 2000, as you could create titles to be defended in Exhibition.

"The noise in the early vids is gone.
I didn't notice the blood vanishing off faces this time.

The Arenas: 18 total, they are as follows:

L.A. Sports Arena
Cow Palace
Toronto Sky Dome

Mid South Colosseum (yess!)
MSG
Boston Garden
Maple Leaf Gardens
Pontiac Silver Dome
Wembly Stadium
The Omni
Tokyo Dome
Texas Stadium
The Spectrum
Moscow Colosseum (fictional)
Cobo Arena
Legends Colosseum (fictional..kind of a cross between MSG and Boston Gardens)

Match Types:

standard
hardcore
cage
ladder
first blood
ironman 30 & 60 minutes
best 2 out of 3 falls
battle royal
3 & 4 way dance
6 & 8 man tag
tournement (only 4 in the ring at one time and cannot be simmed, sorry. I would suggest an 8 man tag match with elimination parameters on.)

CAL: Still didn't get as much time with it as I wanted..I did not get a chance to check the attires as I stopped messing with it after I failed tomake my Vader CAL. Let me explain. You can change evrything about default wrestlers except face paint. There simply is no way to remove it, although you can layer another texture over the old one. I don't know if that causes the old texture to vanish or not, as I didn't enter selections, just scrolled through them. There's a Golddust knockoff in there I noticed. Also, you can't make a wrestler bald if he wasn't like that when you started but you can change his hair. One thing to note is that you can change a wrestler's "rep" (heel or face) as well. Great for those of you who like to make your own story lines, it offers interesting possibilites. Profile, skin color, body type, size of head, etc can all be changed. You can even edit the entrances, meaning if you don't like DDP's entrance, give him Savage's instead. Sorry but I couldn't find out how many slots were available for CAL's. You can assign a manager in CAL, anyone from the roster can be your manager. I think there were 3 slotss for stablemates but I didn't get to check out how it worked.

Hogan: He has a "nwo" type of attire but it has a skull and batwings type of logo on it. I would of thought they would of done something like "LWO" at least. He has a different theme when he wears it. I couldn't hear it too well but it's not "American Made". Hogan rips his shirt off but only on the jumbotron, not during his actual entrance. He dosen't "hulk up" but he has a animation where he blocks a punch( they all do actually) but with his, he waves his finger at you then throws a punch back at you.

Music ripping for entrances doesn't appear to be in, although I doubt there was any music saved to the hard drive on the xboxes at the show.

Title belts: It was 30 minutes to the show closing and I couldn't find any Acclaim reps who could give me any info. I kind of pressed the issue and was told they would find somebody. A few minutes later this guy walks up and introduces himself as Brian Shields, Brand Manager. I asked him about titles in the game and he told me they were in. Heavyweight, U.S and tag team. He said that you couldn't wear them to the ring but that there should be a victory celebration with them after you win."

Continued..

"BTW since the announcer says what type of match is taking place, I would assume he would state that a championship match is also going on. I asked Brian: "The tag titles are in the game?" he said "Of course, the Road Warriors are in the game, so you have to have the tag belts in." You could of knocked me over with a feather, an Acclaim rep who might actually be a wrestling fan. Anyways, I didn't get a chance to ask him anything else because he was on his way out.

I played a few gimmick matches. The table mach was pretty cool. You can set up the table anywhere in or outside the ring. I don't know if you can set a table up in a corner tho. I was Jake playing against some guy who was using crow sting. At some point late in the match, he whipped me onto the table, which was outside the ring. I had a full stun meter and he climbed back in the ring and climbed the corner post. He jumped off and splashed me through the table. The breaking animation looks a lot better that way than just dropping someone through.

The cage match took a long time only because I couldn't figure out how to climb down the other side. This time around, you don't have to break down the door first. You cvan climb out whenever. I can't remember but I think you can call the ref to open the door too. once you are at the top of the cage, you press x to climb down the other side. At one point we were both trying to climb out. He had a head start on me. When he got near the top, he decided to drop on me to make me fall. We both fell and were down with full stun meters. I got up before my opponent and managed to make it over the top.

Over all, the game needs a few tweaks but I think those who liked LOW but wished for a more polished game, will be pleased. If you never liked the series at all, you may want to rent it first.

BTW Jake's Medusa 's head attire is in! The one with his face with the snakes for hair. That was my favorite."
