Re: The OS WWE Dirt Discussion Thread

Supposedly Del Rio is going to be at Triplemania 22 on Sunday, per AAA's announcer tweeting that.

In other news... Scott Steiner has a lawyer.

He also says he's been approached by WWE for a Legends contract. He is also still Scott Steiner, in true Big Poppa Pump form.

Either Del Rio must have done some deal with WWE that allows him to bypass the no compete clause/90 day thing or AAA won't show him and he'll just be shown to the crowd.

It seems the 90 day no compete clause applies only to actually performing. ADR would just be making an appearance, not wrestling, some speculate.

Mexico's AAA promotion has been re-tweeting several fan tweets about Alberto
          Del Rio
's appearance for the company at their TripleMania iPPV this coming
          SummerSlam
Sunday. They've also wrote "welcome home" tweets to Del Rio.

TripleMania will air on regular pay-per-view in Mexico and online at
TripleManiaTV.com for $15.99. La Parka, Ricochet, Jeff
          Jarrett
          , Karen
          Jarrett
          and "Original Sin
          Cara
" Myzteziz will also be in action on the show.
There were rumors on some lucha libre sites yesterday that Del Rio won't be
wrestling for AAA this Sunday but is expected to return to the AAA ring before
          the year is over.
WOW..Jarrett was just over sea's this weekend in Japan. Kinda like what he has going with all these fed's. If he gets the TV time..things could get interesting
          atleast..Its not Delaware

            - As noted earlier, WWE announced the signing of Kevin Steen today. Former WWE personality Ricardo Rodriguez tweeted the following about a photo Triple H and Steen shaking hands:

“Congrats.. I hope he at least looked at you while shaking hands at one point and did call you fat as f–k. #OhMemories.”

“#BumbleBee was his name for me… Don’t even think he ever knew my real name.”

He later deleted the tweets. The BumbleBee reference is to a Simpsons character that is a Hispanic man in a bumblebee costume.

Many rumors have been popping up on different wrestling sites discussing the
future of the short lived Kofi-Big E-Xavier Mack stable. According to many, this
was just a test idea and nothing more. We can now tell you that word backstage
is this stable has been dropped. All three wrestlers are currently returning to
there old characters and Xavier Mack is playing the part of a heel. This stable
could still be written in sometime within the future but as of now it has been
                shot down.

This really does suck. Big E is being buried, Kofi keeps getting killed and xavier makes an appearance on RAW every other month. Oh well.

The three of them were next to each other on stage Monday for Hagan's party, so I thought maybe they were still running with it

The name calling isn't cool, but let's not pretend Ricardo didn't need to lose weight. I wouldn't put him on tv as a wrestler either.

Well this is dumb. I think this could have been a good thing if done right. I do hope they decide to give it a run at some point. I'm tired of seeing black characters either not being used or portraying stereotypes (not to say that's the case for other wrestlers as well) as it seems most of our race does.

If he wrestled a different style, I could see them using him more; but he was just too big for the luchador style he works. He was probably on the bubble, and the NXT Takeover performance solidified WWE's decision.

Yeah the name calling was not called for but all he had to do was lose some weight. Hell even Steen got himself in better shape for his tryout and I for one would enjoyed Ricardo in a Bumble Bee Man gimmick.

Could have teamed Bumblebee and Chris Gyro up.

He use to be fit, at least from some of the pictures I seen of him as Chimaera. It's like he signed with the WWE he just ate.

                                Current TNA star
                                Kurt Angle
is reportedly trying to pitch a deal to WWE
officials that would see him return to the company on a schedule similar to the
                                one that Shawn
                                Michaels
worked in his final years with the company. Angle would work the
                                bigger shows and limited dates.

WWE reportedly has not shown much interest in having Angle return as an
                                in-ring performer. Vince
                                McMahon
has been extremely negative on the idea of bringing Angle back in
                                the past.

If this was Angle's farewell tour..I would be down for it. Love to see him work with Rusev and a possible match with DB would be cool. Not expecting alot but I think a return would be cool
