Thought it was one of Reigns better times on the mic recently. Material was hilariously bad, but delivery and style came off pretty good to me. Usually feel like he's trying to remember a script, but he seemed pretty natural here. Was a solid beginning, until the beanstalk story.
Anyone else find it odd how they seemingly scrapped a nice mid card feud between Rusev and Ryback, so that they could fire Ryback instead? It looked like they brought Barrett back as a face too, only to use him as the guy to take the belt off Ziggler a week later so he could be fired too. It's like they completely scrapped everything they were doing in the middle of the build up to one of their biggest PPVs
Changing the main event to triple-threat too. I'd like to think that this was all a long term plan, but who knows. All I know is, when The Authority wasn't the main angle on the show, Raw was more entertaining and seemed headed in a good direction.
He stopped getting any reaction, at all (even thus far in the match) once he hit talking about a beanstalk.
SMH.
Good try, failure though.
Yeah might have been on something if he kept on about it being so long since Big Show beat Hogan or won a belt....or even if he had said Big Show is nothing more than a side kick to Rollins, one of his stooges like Noble and Mercury.... someone who needs The Authority to be relevant I mean anything but a damn bean stalk giant joke.
