I'm not sure what they're plans are for him or why they'd even feud but Samoa Joe seems like he could be a good fit with Taker.

I don't know where to post this but since it is injury related, I think D Bry might be coming back.

He's never posted it on twitter, just said in out of character interviews that he hasn't been cleared. I find it very interesting and I could be reading too much into it.

He's made it known before that he wants to work Nakamura.

I'm not saying this is a certainty, but it reeks of him being cleared and this a way (in the 'reality era') to get people back behind him.

If I were a betting man, I would probably put money on him showing up as a surprise sometime relatively soon.

Also, considering he shows the article and says "article courtesy of wwe.com" it drives fans that follow him (but don't look at the site) to that article. This increases their knowledge of these huge signings coming over. Too much of it screams "work" for everything to be a coincidence.

Re: Another HUGE injury for WWE!

There's no way they'll make the mistake of bringing him into the Rumble, or even right after the Rumble, without having him win it. Whoever walks out champ, short of maybe Lesnar, will be absolutely crapped on. And I don't see how they can possibly justify putting any title, much less the WWE Title on him after he's walked out champ the last 2 Wrestlemanias and made it a combined month or so before having to leave injured, with said title.

Plus, I think it's a stretch to have Nakamura in a major singles program for Wrestlemania coming out the gate. AJ Styles is one thing. He's a 5 time World Champion in (at the time, at least; it's debatable now) the 2nd biggest promotion to Americans. You don't necessarily need to be a hardcore fan to know who he is. Only Angle and the Hardys could get a bigger reaction from wrestling outside of the WWE world. But Nakamura hasn't been on American television to a large degree. I consider myself a big wrestling fan, and I think I've watched one match of his, ever. He might be absolutely amazing, but you've got to introduce him to American audiences before they'll care at all about him.

Untrue. Fans just want something meaningful for him. If it leads to a program like Nakamura/DBry, Balor/DBry, Owens/Dbry, etc. there will be no crapping all over it.

I think you grossly underestimate the point that we all knew where the Rumbles were going, and nobody wanting them to go that way, had on the crowd. Both with Batista and Reigns, everybody saw it coming from miles away. It's why you saw Reigns get massive pops the first year, and massive boos the second year.

When the story isn't good, why watch it play out when you can (possibly) have an effect on the outcome in the long term? That's the reason those Rumbles failed, as opposed to it being "DBry or bust."

I read this idea on Twitter, someone said why not have Nakamura as Brock's Wrestlemania opponent. Brought the idea of bringing Nakamura in as the "King of strongstyle". He said even though casuals don't know who he is the Wrestlemania crowd do and anyone that attacks Brock instantly becomes over. I wouldn't mind that happening.

I don't think the Wrestlemania crowd would know who he is though. Sure, some of them would, but how many people on this site actually watch Japanese wrestling? I'm sure there are quite a few of you, but I'd bet it's still a minority. And I feel like the Wrestlemania crowd would be even less. Hell, the only reason I had seen KENTA before was because of the GTS.

See, I think the opposite. If you're shelling out that kind of money for Wresltemania, I would think you're a pretty big wrestling fan; not just WWE fan.

That doesn't add up at all. I wouldn't say you're a pretty big wrestling fan, then.

As for the crowds. The Mania and night after Mania crowds absolutely would know who Nakamura is. The Mania crowd isn't filled with children and their mothers, it's filled with hardcore wrestling fans who know their **** Nakamura would get a huge pop in Dallas, and especially the night after.

Fair enough, agree to disagree. I just don't watch much Japanese wrestling. I know who the guy is, and I'm interested in seeing what he can do, but I wouldn't say I'm excited for it like I am with AJ Styles. I still don't think even a Wrestlemania crowd is quite as hardcore as you guys are giving him credit for. I think if he goes to NXT, he gets that kind of pop, though.

Some of them, yes, but it is still very much predominantly an American, and even local, crowd.

That is 100% wrong. The night after Mania crowd is the smarkiest of smarks. I'd say that 90%, if not more, of that crowd attended Mania the night before. That's not a local crowd. They're a worldwide crowd, they know their ****. Anyone of these guys from NJPW would get a massive pop and be known by these two crowds. They're the smartest of crowds.
