    Forum Change Feedback

Just wanted to see how people feel about this.

Let me know here, as I'm still open to more changes if needed.

    Re: Forum Change Feedback

I think it's good. I don't really want to sound like a complainer and I know I have different preferences than others. I personally wouldn't sticky Lucha Underground or Impact Wrestling but that's just me. It doesn't really bother me, though there are a lot of stickied threads in here now. I'm fine with whatever though.

I would sticky the newly created NJPW thread. And maybe unsticky the Network Discussion thread. As there is traffic in that thread and it probably won't ever fall of the first page.

        Re: Forum Change Feedback

I wonder if it's possible for the non-WWE threads to be in a sub forum together like the dirt and spoilers are. Just LU, TNA, NJPW, and Indie general discussion threads, versus them all being stickied. Though this cleans it up a little, and hopefully encourages some discussion of other wrestling.

I disagree on this one. It was close to that before and there was little to no discussion in those sections. I think the stickied threads could lead to more discussion because they are all on the same page instead of in a different area.

I would argue that we would only get more discussion if they are actually in the same forum as WWE as opposed to a separate forum, which was my original argument. They don't generate nearly enough discussion to warrant their own sub-forum IMO.

Maybe instead of weekly Raw threads, just have 1 big one?

              Also, have upcoming PPVs stickied.

Fair, agreed. It makes them more available now.

Raw threads seem fine, they cycle through and onto the next page quick enough.

With new mods like JV and Shiz, we should be able to have the upcoming PPVs stickied each month.

And if it somehow doesn't happen just shoot anyone of the mods to sticky it. It should be a quick 1 minute process at most.

I'm guessing the wanting of the stickied threads is for the people that primarily use Tapatalk? Never saw it as an issue to find a thread on desktop.

It depends on the thread. Prime examples are the other companies (Lucha, NJPW, TNA, ROH). Sometimes they go months if not year without a post in them. But let's say I have a question I don't want to go searching for a thread that could be stickied and at the top of the page.

Well just so that they're easily available just in case they get buried sometime.

(I've actually been the one sticking the PPV thread)

                            My 2 suggestions:
1.Have a wrestling section(like we have basketball, hockey ect.) and the forums within it will be:
WWE 2K(for the main video game)
                            WWE Supercard(for the app game)
                            WWE(for all WWE talk)
Other Wrestling(for the TNA,ROH,NJPW,LU ect. talk)

I mean NHL has the EA game, other video games, and pro hockey. So Wrestling having it's own section too wouldn't be bad idea.

2.Keep the current wrestling forum in the combat sports section, but instead of having all other promotions and WWE in the same section, give the other companies their own subforum within the wrestling forum. So right now we got Dirt,Spoilers,so maybe we could add "Other Wrestling" as a 3rd subforum for the other promotions talk.

Cause the new format I don't like as much. Old format I was hoping that got changed, so now that suggestions are being taken, hopefully we could further improve on this.

That's pretty close to what we just had....and it would be a waste of time because those companies don't get enough posts to warrant their own subforum.

And the more I think about it I disagree with the wrestling section as well. We don't need a whole subforum for the SuperCard game the thread is working fine. It's not like there are a ton of people playing it on and there is no need for any other threads that need to come up.
