Raw threads should stay the same, sure some weeks it's a little dead but to put it all together is a lot of pages to sift through if you're looking for the start of the Raw from this week, etc

      My 2 suggestions:
1.Have a wrestling section(like we have basketball, hockey ect.) and the forums within it will be:
WWE 2K(for the main video game)
      WWE Supercard(for the app game)
      WWE(for all WWE talk)
Other Wrestling(for the TNA,ROH,NJPW,LU ect. talk)

I mean NHL has the EA game, other video games, and pro hockey. So Wrestling having it's own section too wouldn't be bad idea.

2.Keep the current wrestling forum in the combat sports section, but instead of having all other promotions and WWE in the same section, give the other companies their own subforum within the wrestling forum. So right now we got Dirt,Spoilers,so maybe we could add "Other Wrestling" as a 3rd subforum for the other promotions talk.

Cause the new format I don't like as much. Old format I was hoping that got changed, so now that suggestions are being taken, hopefully we could further improve on this.
Why do you want a separate forum for other promotions that hardly garner any attention? I keep hearing about Lucha Underground, so much that I downloaded Season 1 and plan on watching. I may even feel inclined enough to discuss it on here, especially now if it's intertwined in the wrestling forum I visit pretty much everyday already. Lucha, NJPW, TNA, ROH and any other fed only needs an individual thread, they definitely don't need their own forum.

I don't mean a whole layout like we had before. I mean like a mini subforum within the main WWE forum. The way we had it before, the other promotions were in same type of setup as WWE. The old format was WWE,TNA and other wrestling I believe? The way I'm suggesting, is just making it a 3rd subforum, just like how the dirt and spoilers ones are currently like. So that way, the main WWE talk can just happen in the wrestling section, other promotions happen in the separate subforum. The old setup had non WWE talk divided up into 2 different main subforums.

There's at least 4 other promotions outside of WWE, so having those 4, along with WWE, in 1 forum I think might be abit much. The other promotions don't deserve a main subforum alongside WWE, but having one within WWE I think might be better.

I can see where you're coming from and if wrestling now was like it was in 1998, I'd agree. On the surface it may seem like all promotions in one forum could be a bit much, but the wrestling posts on OS are literally 99.9% about WWE.

            Re: Forum Change Feedback

I still disagree with that idea. Why should those federations, companies, whatever you wanna call them deserve a subforum? They barely get any traction, maybe you get 1 or 2 guys posting in them but that's it. Look at the Lucha Thread in just over a year of being created it has 13 total posts. And these threads will, as history has shown, will most likely go months without a single post in them. Between 4 days after TNA to Pop network news was announced and the actual debut there was NO posts. That was about 3 months without a post. And before Bdolski bumped the Lucha thread there hadn't been a post in it, in over 3 months as well.

And I agree with cima, if this was like the AE with 2 big federations/companies going at it I would have said keep the way it was. A WWE subforum, WCW (for the example), and an other wrestling subforum.

Yeah, it's fine as it is. It's just 3 stickied threads, maybe another for an ROH/Indie one if people feel the need to talk about that. I wouldn't think we need subforums, where they are now seems to be the best place to get views and potential posts.

                  Re: Forum Change Feedback

The subforum would still have at least 4 main threads. Regardless if they're used often or not, would keep WWE section cleaner abit.

I mean in other parts of OS, subforums aren't so active, but exist such as:
                  OOTP
                  Fantasy Basketball
College Team Threads(both basketball and football)
Other Football Games(Joe Montana and Blitz)
                  College Baseball

Among others. So if ones like those are able to exist as their own subforums(all of which outside of OOTP,are subforums within a main forum), then don't see why "Other Wrestling" subforum couldn't exist within the main wrestling forum.

That's basically reverting it back to how it was but combining the TNA/Independent forums. I say we experiment with it like this because it might garner some discussion for other feds moreso than them being buried in their own sub-forum.

I agree with this because I am a nerd and like to occasionally go back and read the Raw threads from classic episodes where awesome stuff happened when I'm real bored. Combining them all into one would make that a lot harder.

Exactly...I mean if I could I would probably give TNA a chance and I want to find older NJPW (read Nakamura/Bullet Club) to watch so I can see what these new guys are like. And I can't do TNA because I don't get Pop at school. And where it's not on On Demand for some I can't even head home one weekend and watch a full month while at home.

Thought I was the only one, haha. I still hit the WM30 thread on occasion to see reactions to the streak being broken.

I think I've gone through the Raw thread where Nexus debuted 4-5 times over the years.

I like the change how it is now. I know I never looked in the impact thread. I'm more likely to look at the others without them being in a separate area.

Sticky the main shows as needed:

                              RAW
                              Smackdown

Question for the "panel" what do you guys think about a general Smackdown thread for now? Because there isn't really any commentary on SD right now but it would be better than bringing up the stuff in the weekly Raw Thread or the OT thread. And if somehow gets bigger again we can move to a weekly thread for it.
