This makes me feel so old. I was 12 when this happened. Time flies.

Also 20 years ago that Brian Pillman passed away.

Man, HBK doesn't mess around when he bleeds. Reminds me of when Vince was losing a ton blood during his WM match vs Hogan.

Guys used to go all out on it. Talk about the "crimson mask". Guys like HBK,HHH,Flair used to do it the best. You knew it was a brutal PPV match when the next Raw/SD you'd see guys walking into the show with 1 giant bandage covering their entire forehead.

I've made it to early 2001. Y'all about to have me starting back over at 97.

I just finished Buried Alive 96 last night. Im also watching the corresponding WCW shows. It’s lengthy but man it’s good. I didn’t watch much WCW so it has been beneficial to me.

Ya, but obviously all that stuff is gone for good reason. Seeing how how many health issues superstars over the years have gotten from various things no longer done in WWE, you're kinda glad they removed it.

Sixteen years ago today, Steve Austin won the WWF Championship for the last time. If I'm not mistaken, not only was his reign the last before the Undisputed title was introduced, but it was his last title reign after he lost it to Jericho.

7 matches and 1 pinfall. Is this your deal, Russo?

20 years ago today was the Montreal Screwjob at Survivor Series 1997. Man I feel old.

I watched 97 stuff a few years back and it really was frustrating watching seeing how immature DX were. You could tell there was legit heat between guys. And the HBK that guys didn't like was showing alot.

Then the treatment of everyone associated with Bret once that happened was horrible.

Even Owen, after SS its sad seeing him now just suddenly alone, getting ripped on by DX, and knowing he was only putting up with that because he was scared to leave because of possible lawsuits.
