Backlash was a good PPV overall, I just hate the fact that they robbed Rock of his big moment as THE guy in the company.

Brian Lee was also the fake Undertaker when they did that Summerslam angle.

As much as people take shots at the current WWE, that heel Michael Cole stuff was some of the most annoyingly unwatchable stuff. That "get off my TV" heat is not what you want. Especially with 3 hour Raws just begging people to switch channels by default.

                      He's talking specifically about this:

Triple-H defeated The Rock 6-5 in an ironman match at Judgement Day
                      Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

Never let fear determine who you are. Never let where you came from determine where you are going.

I thought Shiz was a "Triple H is a top 5 all-time" guy, from that conversation we had years ago. Him beating the Rock shouldn't be a big deal lol.

That's the one time I wish Rock was more of a politician behind the scenes. Cause he definitely let them rail road him for that whole thing.

Haha I was about 5 years old so to me I didn't notice who was buried / who was a politician behind the scenes. I usually do some more behind the scenes reading when I get up to that era as I'm currently rewatching all the old stuff on the Network.

I'm currently in 1996 and boy is it tough to get through...
