I don't mind the belts looking the same. Just like UFC does. If they being a Cruiserweight Title in I wouldn't be surprised if they made that look like the WWE, Universal and Women's as well. I don't mind it at all.

And my favorite color is red so the Universal Title looks kinda sweet to me. Lol

I think the final four matches of SummerSlam should've been:

Brock vs Orton

WWE Title

Women's Title

Universal Title

It's not a different name though. It's literally the same thing as the others. The US title is formely the WCW United States Championship, now the WWE United States Championship. The WCW Cruiserweight Championship is the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. The WCW World Heavyweight Championship became the World Heavyweight Championship. I'm thinking whoever wrote the article listed as the same because of it's appearance but they clearly have it separated for a reason.

Anyway, people did complain about the Women's title. Just more people have a problem with this one than they did that one.

If you look on the internet, everyone has the World Title with the WCW lineage as well. WWE just doesn't know how to properly link lineage together because they make it up on the fly.

I'm sure he didn't like the crowd's reaction during the match either. WWE has to understand that while it looks great on paper, having people sit for 6 hrs for an event is going to cause burnout like we saw pretty much from the Ambrose match onwards.

You're like right about that. Hell, it was a chore for me to just sit and watch through the 4 hours of the main program just this morning after work. And that included skipping through the promos and backgrounds and just going from match to match.

No way in hell would I have the same energy and enthusiasm by the final hour of the night if I was there live. These 6-7 hour long PPVs (including the pre-show) just kill the crowd.

Is it just the WM mystique that keeps the crowd then? It seems that WM keeps a crowd all through the show, but SS cant seem to do it. I mean, on paper, this is a WM type card that they had last night.

This past WM the crowd pretty much lost interest/got fatigued during the last hour.

Nobody had a complaint about the womens title looking like the WWE title, so why is there a big fuss over the Universal title looking like the WWE title? That's what I don't get.

It reminds me of the old US Tag Titles more than anything

The universal title is THE wwe title now. The belt on smackdown was, is, and always will be, the second rate title. Doesn't matter how much history it has, who has held it, how much imaginary prestige the fandom and company give it. The belt that headlines Raw is THE title. Finn Balor is the champion of the WWE.

Yeah that's them, I think the NWA TV title had a red strap at one point too, but I always associate the red with the US Tag Titles. I thought all the late 80s NWA belts were awesome

Why does it have to be that way? Because you said so, or has Vince McMahon himself said that?

I don't understand the logic in this at all. Yes Raw is the big show, but honestly I'm more invested in Smackdown.

I didnt like any version of the tv title. I am a big mark for the 90's WCW US title though. That's probably my fav belt.
