SD is more like other sports though. Look at these pros that go play in the Olympics with each other. They instantly gel within days of playing with each other. And there are heated rivalries that get left aside when they go play for the flag.

Re: Smackdown Live: #900
And like you said, just like international events, you have rivals teaming up to be friends/teammates for the sake of one event, and then go back to being rivals right after that.Comment

Sounds like to me this is going to be his final run, and while it won't be completely full time he will show up way more often. I'm cool with it, I imagine WM 34 might be his final match.Comment

Re: Smackdown Live: #900
I used to love occasionally watching Velocity. I think it was on Saturdays at 11pm or something. Back then I only stayed up that late during summer vacation. Nothing about Velocity I think would even interest me today, even if I could watch those matches again on the WWE Network, but it strangely appealed to me all those years ago.
And I think it indirectly lead to me watching TNA for a summer or two on SpikeTV.Comment

Re: Smackdown Live: #900
So all the Undertaker back came for was to give the Smackdown Live team a pep talk? Ok then. Was nice to see Edge again as his promo skills never miss a beat although he looks seriously old with all the facial hair. I enjoyed the Women's team brawl but felt the Smackdown team was getting punked. That is until Nia Jax did her patented run into the barricade and miss move. One minor gripe I have with the Smackdown Live tag team match was that the Usos seemed force to act as faces again. They were back to their smiling ways and did their launch off the top rope move. I'm sure it will be back to normal after Survivor Series so it's all good.Comment

Re: Smackdown Live: #900
Mention that Wrestlemania will no longer define you
Mention that Survivor Series is where you're born
Tell the team to kick *** or they'll have to deal with you???
I don't complain about the product a lot but that was so dumb. Why would they have him say all that and then NOT join the match for the 30th anniversary of SS. That threat sounds like it has as much merit as when Foley told Rollins they would "talk in the back".

Re: Smackdown Live: #900
So I guess Undertaker was implying that he will be around more now?
I mean it was awesome, but it was also stupid that he said what he said and that's all that came of it. Maybe Raw will win at SS and then Taker will appear and take out the SD team for failing him? I don't know. These days I'm less like "Jailhouse Rock" Elvis and more like "dying alone on the toilet" Elvis.Comment

Honestly I think part of it is her music. It starts out super quiet, which doesn't lend itself to a huge reaction. I was there last night and she got pretty decent heel heat during the match.Comment
