    AEW Off-Topic

Sounds like Ticketmaster flipped the seating chart and a lot of people got screwed. Ticketmaster is of course blaming AEW because TM never does anything wrong. AEW (and the arena) is blaming TM.

What section were they sitting in?

I'm not even sure who to blame either. The map is wrong, so is that an AEW issue or a ticketmaster issue? If people were sitting in the seat and section they're supposed to be in, but the stage and ring are in diff spots, you could argue that is an AEW fault (maybe they set up everything the opposite way).

Looks like she's in 102, as she purchased. Just flip the stage from one side of the arena to the other (That little cutout in Section 2 is where they'll load everything in, lead to backstage, etc.).

I don't know who's at fault. I don't see how tickets would've been selling for weeks now without someone from AEW noticing the map was backwards, but I also don't see Ticketmaster flipping it around for no reason whatsoever. This was Arthur Ashe, right? You'd have to assume they (AEW and TM together) would be using the info from last time to know which sections and seats to sell/mark as obstructed view.

The crazy thing is if it was a simple mistake of a flipped map, then shouldn’t all the seats on the other side that would have been behind the stage had the map been right not have been filled? But they look completely sold on the other side. So were they selling major obstructed view seats?

After further Twitter research...Ticketmaster fixed the seating chart AFTER they had already gone on sale, but didn't inform anybody.

Fightful reporting that Buddy Matthews is “going away for awhile”.

Black and Murphy coming back to WWE would not surprise me one bit.

It's just so boring. I don't get why people follow them and hang on their word with as much veracity as they do.

People like drama. And many times dirtsheets do end up so vague that it's hard to be fully wrong.

                        Someone's off for weeks:
"It's being said that __ is dealing with an injury and its unknown at the moment when they could return"

                        Or

"__ has been off TV for weeks because there currently aren't any plans for them."

You can say basically anything about anyone and people will read it and believe lots of it. Whether you believe it or not, you will talk about it. That's one of the parts of CM Punks blowup I don't have a problem with. These dirtsheet people who can just make up stories or just post the most ridiculous things for clicks.

Not that it's exclusive to wrestling, we see it in all sports, NBA especially, but those leagues at least have top/credible people too. The wrestling journalism world seems to 99% be about dirtsheet "reporters".
