Didn't even know they worried about winning Canada in the Wednesday Wars.

They know how big the Canadian wrestling market is. And having guys like Omega and Jericho to advertise helps.

Obviously not as big as in the US, but the next biggest market in the western hemisphere.

AEW will return to Chicago Wednesday Nov 27th at the Sears Centre for TV. Tickets on sale at Noon ET tomorrow. The most interesting thing.... this is just days AFTER Survivor Series weekend also in Chicago.

Friday to Monday WWE will be in chicago. So AEW comes in just 2 days after.

2 days after WWE has been there all weekend AND the day before Thanksgiving??? That's a risky location to book for that day. Love idea of them running Chicago just not right after WWE spends the entire weekend there and being the day before Thanksgiving.

I saw an ad for it or the announcement last month I think. But then completely forgot about it. I'd imagine it's a compilation of everything that's happened since DoN and then will give a preview of All Out for tomorrow night.

Wish WWE and NBCU would do the same thing for NXT in a couple week, personally.

Some thoughts on production and presentation I've seen so far from AEW.

What I've liked:
-Emphasis on little things like caring about wins and losses, and having importance on managers and teams. Maybe eventually we see more stable too.

-I like the lighting they use for crowds. A deeper blue than WWE has. You dont see or care as much about the crowd, but the shot of the arena looks nice.

-The stage area and entrances/videos are good too. Gives it the big time feel.

Things I hate/hope gets fixed:
-Camera shots. Sometimes they cut away from notable moments, or focus too much on something they shouldn't. Crowd shots especially, can we please stop having those? Dont need to see a crowd reaction every 5 mins of the show.

-Tope Suicida! That line needs to stop. If you drank each time that was said, you'd be Stone Cold.

-TV audio. I noticed during SCU promo, the mic sounded like they picked up the feed straight from the arena, so you heard more of an echo. I didnt mind that, but it would be nice if they turned up the mic volume more. And when Roberts gives the time announcement, I dont think I've heard what he said once in all the shows I've watched. It's not audible on tv at all.

-Educate the new fans. I feel lost at times having no idea who many of these people are. I'll know the obvious ones like Cody,Jericho,Spears and even some old TNA guys like Daniels,Kazarian. But I dont know who most others are. And they dont do good job getting new fans into this. They act almost like everyone watching is some indy fan who knows every name who isnt in WWE. AEW should know many fans here might be ones who are either getting back into wrestling, or especially just ones who have only really watched WWE and that's it.


I hope the last point changes once the tv show starts. Help the fans who dont watch ROH,NJPW and so on, get acquainted with all these stars. The TNT debut is a series premiere. Treat it as such. Introduce the superstars to fans and let us know who everyone is, their backstory(not just "__ has fought around the world for years", but actual stuff to help build their character and backstory)

First PPV with TV show, so let's see how that one goes. Actually getting weekly TV build for characters and stories.

I'm guessing its 8-11pm show and a 1 hour preshow?

I can't stop laughing at this...and Tallahassee PD have confirmed a title was stolen from Jericho's limo. Safe to assume to it's the AEW title since he doesn't have any others and I don't think he would be carrying a replica WWE title he held with him.

Also this definitely sucks and is horrible.
