Yeah, expecting him to have the balls to do either is wishful thinking.

Needs to talk to his dad or some executive/coach that works for them about making "tough decisions." [emoji1][emoji1][emoji1]

If this is all legit, and he doesn't want to work with certain guys anyway, I'm not sure the point of him being around.

But at the same time, this type of stuff happened all the time back in the day. It was just a part of business. Not something obsessed over, and definitely not something that fans demanded action over one way or the other lol. In that context all of this is funny.

Are people in the AEW locker room transcribing/recording all of their conversations? It's funny to me how quickly all of this "news" finds its way to the wrestling websites. I don't know if I'd feel comfortable confiding in anyone there given the current environment.

We should be celebrating a massive show in front of a legit 80K-plus fans and yet all of the talk has been on more backstage drama.

AEW delivers a largely great product, but if they don't get some actual leadership in that locker room, it's going to hamper potential long-term success. I hope they figure things out.

Look at All In, literally put the only Women's Match immediately after a brutal Stadium Stampede match where the fans were clearly exhausted afterwards. It was treated as a "cool down" match, hell I think I saw someone say it got under 10 minutes. Where was Statlander?

A big stadium show and you can't even showcase Athena who is the ROH Women's Champion? Booking Women's Wrestling seems to be an issue for both AEW & WWE at the moment, except for Shawn Michaels who books the NXT Women better than both AEW & main roster WWE.

As for CM Punk, the one thing people have picked up on is how when these reports come out, it's always in favor of Punk. Like Punk's people are trying to get ahead and make him out to be the good guy in the situation. Punk has turned into a combination of 90's HBK and Hulk Hogan from a backstage perspective. It's not even the CM Punk stuff, like who backstage is leaking all this gossip right after it happens? It seems every week we hear about new backstage drama at AEW, like TK needs to get his locker room under control and figure out who the leaks are and fire them.
I agree with what you're saying in regards to the women's division. Mainly, like the men's roster, it's just bloated. If it was up to me, half the women's (and men's) roster would be gone literally overnight. lol

Mercedes though is simply above them all and at the very least could elevate a few of the women in the division. Not all of them of course but at least a few to where it would be seen as a "good" division.

I agree in regards to Statlander and Athena but im thinking they'll be on the All Out PPV because in no way, shape or form am I expecting Saraya to wrestle 7 days after winning the title.

I agree in regards to Punk. I like Punk and have been a fan of his since 2011 where he got me back into wrestling after 5+ years of being away from watching it but at the same time, there always seems to be an issue here and there and it usually involves Punk so if he's the common denominator, then Khan needs to do something. Khan's gotten lucky thus far with The Elite re-signing but eventually luck runs out.

As much as I like CM Punk, too many altercations and issues always involving him so he needed to be gone. Now, Collision can become even better because Tony doesn't need to separate talent and rosters like he was kind of doing. Sometimes you just need to move on.

He needed to go last year. Khan stopped being a mark at last.

Punk allegedly lunging at Tony was likely the last straw. Plus, they likely leaked that fact to cover their asses legally and probably have arena footage to back it up.

Crazy how badly things ended for Punk for the 2nd time. SMDH

And he probably was forced to sign another NDA - he was allegedly forced to sign one after Brawl Out - so no going on podcasts to make things 10x worse. [emoji1][emoji1][emoji1]

It was also pretty predictable…hilariously predictable, actually.

I’m gonna need Triple H and Tony to team up for a “Self-Destruction of CM Punk” DVD like that one WWE did to Warrior 15-20 years ago.
