Well, this was practically inevitable with his style of matches. Surprised it was Sammy that got hurt first on tv and not Darby.

Hope he'll be okay, they'll need to call off the match and give the TNT title to Scorpio.

I thought either he or Brian Cage were going to have an "epic" return and attack Wardlow on behalf of MJF. I still hope that's eventually where they go with one of them.

That was a great episode of Dynamite. Obviously Jeff Hardy going to AEW was a given but did Tony buy the Hardy's WWE Theme? I just love how AEW uses the older talent to help put over the younger talent.. have to wonder what FTR firing Blanchard means for him now.

So I guess Scorpio Sky is going to escape with the TNT title thanks to MJF or Shawn Spears next week. Then Wardlow will feud with MJF/Spears until they are ready to put a title on him. Can't wait for next week.

Here's something from a story I read.

Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp dropped a piece of news on Wednesday that further points toward AEW signing Jeff as the company is trying to get the copyright to the Hardy Boyz's original entrance theme song "Loaded." The track was created by Zack Tempest and the copyright was never owned by the WWE, meaning AEW could potentially buy the rights to it as they have with other licensed music like "Where's My Mind?" by The Pixies.

Yeah, it's just stock music available for anyone to license. It's been a while but I know I've heard it over the years in commercials. Same with Hardcore Holly's old theme too, I think.

Do they own the rights? Wasn't the Hardys theme just some generic track that WWE purchased to use back in the 90s?

Companies still use that song on random ads and other things from time to time.

If that's the case, can't anyone just use it then?

Either way, cool to have them with that theme outside of WWE.

AEW Dynamite Thread

The rights to their theme is owned by Zack Tempest, who produced the track. WWE never gained ownership of it.

So AEW acquired the license to use the song (and I read they also licensed the whole album, so they have the license to Crash and Hardcore Holly’s theme).

Anyone can use the theme, as long as they are willing to pay.
