    Re: AEW Dynamite/Collision Thread

Not to get too into it, but fans chanted their displeasure about ICE.... and the chants were longer than the match itself lol.

I find it funny how AEW fans spend their time chanting something political, while the fans who attend WWE shows just want to enjoy wrestling. Given how political Triple H has become lately, you still don't hear any political chants at WWE shows.

There's definitely many fans (in both companies) who do agree with "the other side". I obviously won't go too in to detail, but you know if those chants happened in WWE it would get censored and people probably told "don't bring politics to shows", but we know exactly why it would be said.....

    Re: AEW Dynamite/Collision Thread

Didn't realize Grand Slam Australia is a separate show from Dynamite. For all the talk about it I thought it was happening in place of Dynamite. It seems like a 2.5 hour Collision next weekend. But since it's in Australia, it'll air on a major tape delay over here. What I find funny is the network which airs Collision in Canada (titled USA Network funny enough) immediately after AEW will be airing one of those WWE A&E shows, so they'll be advertising WWE stuff during Collision in Canada, and since AEW often does overruns, their show will cut in to WWEs timeslot.

What a night for shock title changes. Ciampa drops the TNT Title to Kyle Fletcher, Thekla beats Kris Statlander to become Women's Champion. Next week... Omega vs Swerve for the first time ever on Dynamite!

Uh... isn't AEW Revolution coming up next month? Why do these title changes on Dynamite and not save them for Revolution? I see Omega may have something gaming related the weekend of Revolution but why not wait until AEW Dynasty to do Omega vs Swerve?

Hangman went there and mentioned Kenny's one time suspension from AEW.....

Ciampa only won the tnt title for shock value? He already lost it!

I was thinking it, but seems like many said it already. Clark Connors looks like "Hangman Jericho".

Hangman went full Cody Rhodes........ He said if he loses to MJF at Revolution, he will never challenge for the World Title again. Also it's a Texas Death Match for whatever reason.......

I know it'll never happen, but they really need to do a barbed wire death match one more time just to make up for the first ones ending. As for the stipulation, this has to mean Hangman wins right? Swerve turning heel and now Hangman possibly winning the title? It'd make sense.

What's the point of Wheeler losing a hair match just to not actually show him post haircut for at least a few weeks if not longer? If you're gonna shave someone's head on tv, show them on tv following that night.

David Finlay is All Elite..... I'm surprised he didn't go to WWE where his brother is. So now AEW has the War Dogs (Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors & David Finlay) from New Japan, but they are calling them 'The Dogs" on the All Elite Graphic lol.

They're still calling them the dogs so I wonder why. Is it a trademark reason where they can't use Wardogs? Like how they pivoted from Bullet Club Gold to the Bang Bang Gang. I was thinking maybe they wanted to not mention War right now (similar to how WWE changed Raw is War to just Raw in 2001), but they still use War Ready as the Nickname.

Not just his brother, but his dad is a producer/trainer too. Seemed like maybe WWE was banking on it slightly with that "next gen" stable they had, but he went to AEW instead.

Seems like AEW is willing to step their game up when it comes to counter offering talent similar to how the IInspiration went to AEW instead of WWE when Spears is there in NXT as well. So family ties don't mean much when more money is on the table.

Not that I think the IInspiration will be some major team that'll be a future main event or world champ level talent, but it would've been fun to see what they could have done in WWE such as if they got paired with Chelsea Green. I think their gimmick would've played so well off her.

AEW Talent love bringing up WWE's ticket prices but they keep doing dumb Indy stuff that isn't going to bring in the families and fans priced out by TKO.

Toni Storm out indefinitely as mentioned on Dynamite.

Fans speculating it could either be an injury, or perhaps she's having a baby. No confirmation either way, but sounds like you won't see her for a while.

Imo her being gone for a bit won't be the worst thing for her character. She's done everything she can with it.

TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher apparently left Collision in a walking boot. Injuries keep piling up in AEW man... they can't seem to catch a break.

JERICHO IS BACK. AEW Dynamite kicks off with the return of Jericho. Got to be honest, the crowd doesn't really give him a huge pop or anything despite it being his hometown.

I'm just saying him returning to WWE would have gotten a much bigger pop.

Edit: Danhausen gets bigger pops than the one Jericho got lol, and after that contract signing with another Winnipeg hometown guy in Omega. This crowd absolutely sucks.

AEW showing tweets on screen? I didn't like it when WWE did it, and I don't like AEW doing it.

This has to be one of the bigger shocks in AEW history? It felt like a foregone conclusion he was heading back to WWE and now after all these months he's back in AEW?

Did his contract expire and he just re-signed? Was his contract not even up?
