Its also crazy to realize how long it's been without a crowd.

Guys like Brodie and Matt Hardy have been in AEW for MONTHS and still haven't been with a crowd.

Britt Baker has been doing her heel gimmick about twice as long with no crowd as she got to do with a crowd.

Mox had 2 shows with a crowd as champ, 2!

Man, how quickly did the Dark Order go from interesting to nWo B-Team level?

Cardona’s debut would’ve been better with a crowd, but what are you gonna do at this point? Shida vs Diamante was ehh, which was disappointing because I like them both. MJF was good. The rare instance of someone better without a crowd, because he can just do straight heel stuff and not get cheered for it.

Wasn’t able to watch the main event. What happened there?

Dark Order needs good members rather than feeling like Team WCW at the Invasion.

AEW in general has lacked storylines and development. I've said it before, athletic wrestlers with tope suicidas can only take you so far. Flips and spot moves filling out most of the roster.

As for the ending, Darby had a skateboard with tacks on the bottom of it that he used to win. He had stare down with Mox and those 2 will be facing off for the AEW title next week.

This week's AEW was decent. We saw some blood in the main event match with thumbtacks again wasn't that what it was? Jon Moxley needs a legit contender to chase after him though. Is MJF that guy? Or is it too soon? MJF's promo to challenge Moxley was pretty fire though. Love his heel work. Opening 10 man tag team match was pretty wild. Looks like Matt Hardy is going to feud with Sammy Guevara. Cody's TNT Title defense was solid too. And wow, is that Matt Cardona aka Zack Ryder ? He has arrived to AEW? He looks so jacked now. The other two matches were fine too. Just that Hikaru Shida needs a legit contender for her Title right now. She's just floating around.

Ricky Starks gives me a young The Rock vibe.

His mannerisms and mic work are excellent.

Edit: Just watched MJF's promo. Holy **** was that good. He had me for 6 whole minutes and eating up every word. He did a great job going through the fourth wall and back. He obviously listens to Cornette's podcast as well, which gave him some inspiration.

Give me MJF defeating Moxley at All Out. Give me a Starks vs. MJF feud sometime next summer.

Yeah he's always been pretty jacked. Two things make a big difference here - 1) the chest hair grown in gives him some contouring we aren't used to seeing. And 2) this isn't a knock on AEW, but the size of the guys there make him look way bigger. The guys in AEW are just smaller, so in comparison he looks like a monster.

I noticed Brodie Lee often looks like the Big Show compared to the guys around him.

Not to mention he's been at home for 3 months, and probably just works out I'm guessing.

Look at a guy like Reigns, he's been home the whole time, no traveling, proper sleeping/eating, and getting to work out at home, you get ripped.

Some of the guys currently performing don't seem like that, not being home as much or having many workout options either.

Yeah it seems like when guys come back from extended time away they always come back extra ripped and then they settle back into their normal size after a few months

Some big scheduling changes for AEW which luckily for them doesn't impact things as much as they would have in a regular year since shows are either taped already, or will be live but no crowd anyways so it won't impact that.

Due to the NBA playoffs:
August 19th episode will move to Saturday at 6pm ET,3 PT

Following week, August 26th episode moves 1 day to Thursday at 8pm ET, 5 PT

And then September 16th episode moves to Thursday at 8pm ET, 5 PT
