Completely unnecessary and this match has been sloppy as hell (though entertaining).

They should've had limited commercials.

Hyping up Jericho falling on the metal/concrete stage and he just lands on some pillow crash pad AEW if you're going to do these things, go all the way or don't do it, don't half it. Also they seemed to be killing time at the end there until TV went off the air. Either they misjudged it like they did for the Death Match timer or something, I would have just ended it on MJF pushing Jericho off, close up of MJF's bloody face with an evil grin... fade to black.

Enjoyed the match as a whole, thought it was cool with the making them surrender and pushing him off anyway.

basically did exactly what i expected the match to do, though I am getting a little tired of the Inner Circle just losing all the time lmao

There are more positives than negatives for sure.

Yeah it looked like they were trying to kill time with 15 minutes left. The match deserved an explosive ending that could’ve hurt the Inner Circle versus what we got. That you could literally see that Jericho went through cardboard when Darby literally got thrown down a set of concrete steps earlier in the show.

FTR were the MVPs of this match, Sammy is going to be an absolute star in the future, and I loved Hager and Wardlow just throwing bombs at each other.

Finish aside, it was a hell of a match.

I liked the match. Hated the commercial breaks during it though. Obviously they had this match on TV to boost ratings, but would've been nice on PPV.

Although the match and ending did have a PPV ending feel to it which was great.

Yes, that spot with Jericho wasn't some insane career ending like spot, but obviously Jericho wouldn't be taking some 15 foot drop through a couple of tables onto a concrete floor.

But at the same time...I think we all knew MJF was gonna push Jericho one way or the other.

It’s not the bump itself. It’s that it had a very noticeably soft impact and they chose the worst camera angle to show it off.

There are a lot of things to not take from WWE’s presentation, but showing a bump like this is something AEW should copy. Shoot it low to hide the actual landing, and show replays from wide angles to help the illusion.

Jericho falling on a giant mattress and then looking into the camera while they stretched for time wasn’t the way to go.
