Tuned in for the first time in awhile because they were back on the road. Still bad. The main event thumb tack spots were beyond stupid irresponsible.

This level of thoughtfulness really only works if you live the gimmick or if the backstage curtain was still closed, but nobody does and it's not. Not saying that's a good or bad thing, just is what it is.
Meh, I guess so but I still appreciate it even if the industry is completely exposed.

Seems like a few people in the industry still care (End & Wyatt) too and that is cool, IMO.

We need more people willing to put thought into their personas, cause that's how younger kids get hooked (which we all once were).

Yeah, this is just what they are and they don't have enough of a large fanbase to tone certain things down. If & when they go "mainstream" they'll likely need to and that will definitely rub their early fanbase the wrong way.

I was cringing when they were throwing the tacks at Pentagon and/or Kingston's face(s). Supposedly they were gimmicked thumb tacks without the sharp points (which is just being speculated online).

I enjoyed enough of the show to keep watching, but can't wait until they take the belts off of the charisma sucking hands of Omega & the Bucks.

Plus, I'm ready for the Pinnacle/Inner Circle feud to be over already.

Yeah, it could've been done after either War Games or Stadium Stampede. I guess since they're 1-1 in 5 vs 5 matches they'll have one more big match to end it, but it feels like they're just spinning their wheels with the weekly stuff.

After All Out I could see that feud done.

But I wonder what the Jericho vs MJF stipulation could be.

Not a retirement match, maybe a loser leaves AEW match?

Did they say when this would take place? I assume loser leaves AEW allowing Jericho to go tour with Fozzy then he'll return to AEW after the tour.

They never said when, but anything other than All Out would be a surprise.

That makes sense...Fozzy tour and a return before the Jeri-Cruise show(s).

Why do wrestling fans have to be so messed up?

The person who jumped the railings is bragging about it and seems to suggest they'll do it again, and basically acting like Cornette was their motivation for doing so.

Like I've said before, all it takes is 1 really messed up person before rules will be forced to be changed/security will be jacked up. Unfortunately it always takes something happening before changes get made. Hopefully AEW do get tighter security because fans can do anything. Imagine someone jumping the rail on live TV and actually harming someone infront of the world.

As much as people would hate it, the setup WWE had for the PC with people behind those hockey glass might be the best idea, but unfortunately it would take an actual incident happening before someone makes that permanent.

It's not just wrestling fans. (I know you didn't mean it as only wrestling fans.) There are a bunch of people who are so bored with how normal their lives are that they create these fantastical scenarios where they become the star of whatever scenario they dream up.

Don mentioned Fight for The Fallen on July 28th, a show I'll be attending in Charlotte. He copied Heyman's promo about how there is nobody left for Omega, they teased MJF & Hangman a couple years ago when Hangman won the battle royal to get the shot at All Out against Jericho.

I do wonder if Fight For The Fallen will be Jericho/MJF & Hangman/Omega for the title. Then MJF vs Hangman at All Out for the AEW Title. This would allow The Dark Order to feud with The Pinnacle for the rest of the year.

That whole segment between Cody and Malakai came across poorly. It's been a good episode thus far, though.
