Surprised he said what he said about Bryan Danielson. Maybe Tony Khan wanted him to say it? TNT has stated no unannounced surprise debuts anymore so hinting at it as much as possible without actually saying it seems to be their preferred route as we saw with Punk

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I'm hoping that you - know - who works a "safer" WWE style than the "balls - to - the - wall" indy style (or "varying styles") of AEW.

Kind of how Christian is working matches similar to his WWE days and (no offense intended) not taking unneeded risks like Matt Hardy.

He actually didn't leave on bad terms like it seems so many else in AEW did. I don't think he'd want to expressly ignore the period/run that catapulted him to the mainstream/main event.

I doubt he'll really have choice on the matter and WWE will have those lawyers on deck.

The one thing about this that got me thinking. You could go either way with Bryan or Punk being the heel but basically them shooting on each other and how Punk walking out led to Bryan's Mania moment in 2014.

Punk as a heel could say that without him walking out, Bryan isn't the successful star he became, he doesn't have a "Miracle on Bourbon Street"(closest thing to not saying WWE or Wrestlemania). Bryan could say to Punk that he dropped the ball, he couldn't handle the pressure, etc.
