Well, when the crowd pops after a clear, obvious botch and shout "holy ****" (the most overused chant with "this is awesome") how is he going to learn?

Plus, his is boss is in love with "all wrestling" and doesn't have any idea what should and shouldn't be done.

If he had connected it would've been incredible, but the kid nearly concussed himself or worse.

      Re: AEW Dynamite Thread

Outside of the World Title Match, this show was ok. I'm going to Holiday Bash in Greensboro next week so I'm pretty excited about what will probably be the main event of Punk/Sting/Darby vs MJF/FTR. I haven't seen Sting wrestle in person since WCW and Punk since before he left WWE. So I'm pretty excited about that match and that I get to see it in person.

I completely understand the time limit draw between Omega & Bryan, that I was fine with. They didn't need the time limit draw with Hangman & Bryan, Hangman winning in the final seconds would have been alright. You could have went the Taker/HBK Mania rematch route where Bryan makes one small mistake that leads to his defeat and then comes back later saying he made one small mistake, wants a rematch, etc. Bryan doesn't need to be protected with draws just so he stays undefeated. WWE is guilty of the same thing where two superstars who can't lose are facing each other and they have to figure a way out of it. WWE just does DQs or run ins, AEW uses time limit draws.

If KOR is the present next week that Adam Cole is talking about, do we get a Bobby Fish/KOR vs Young Bucks in a Custody of Adam Cole Match?

Adam Cole on a Pole match!

        Book it, Tony!

I agree with all your points and sentiments.

I actually think they should've reversed the characters roles and card positioning of CM Punk and Bryan Danielson.

It's too late now, but building Danielson up slowly, while turning Punk heel just goes better with their natural dispositions, IMO.

I think Danielson has done better with what he's been given, while Punk has been more hit or miss for me (with his feuds ending too abruptly).

Is it just me or did they not do everything they advertised? Wasn't there a big match they were supposed to announce? I know they announced the 6 man tag, but wasn't that as a result of how the show ended? They hyped the announcement like it was an unexpected match.

And what happened with the Owen stuff?

And maybe it's just me, but I feel like they should just have Ironman matches instead of these draws.

It's the Christmas edition of Dynamite.

Adam Cole on the North Pole match.

But I wonder if it is KOR being that big surprise.

To be fair, AEW has used the time limit draw, like 3-5 times in the company’s entire history (I may be way off on that but at least in matches I’ve seen). WWE would use the DQ finish that many times in a week. I haven’t watched WWE in probably a couple years, so I’m not sure if it’s still like that or not, but it was done way way more when I was watching. Funny enough, I don’t know if I ever remember an AEW match ending in DQ and wish they’d go that route every once in a great while. I get wins/losses mattering but it’d be cool if MJF paid Wardlow to get himself DQed and beat someone with a chair or something.

That was always the plan. He has 4 radiation treatments left.

I’m sure if he’s not feeling up to it, he’ll be able to take the week off.

Schiavone so invested in this match lol. Pretty good false finish after the Panama sunrise.

Gonna be interesting to see AEW fans praise and cheer the Undisputed Era.....

.....or whatever they'll be called since I'm sure WWE owns that name. (I know they were "indy guys" first, but NXT was their show and AEW audience essentially abandoned plus trashed it, IMO).

Hopefully this means that Cole will be getting passed all the goofy **** involving the Young Bucks too.

I never watched NXT so I have zero emotions one way or the other about Undisputed era. But I have seen Fish and O'Reilly wrestle elsewhere.

I personally wouldn’t exactly call Fish and O’Reilly “indie darlings”. They mostly wrestled in RoH and NJPW.

Understood and they do have history from back in their time together in ROH.

I just think it'll be funny to see them rejoin in AEW, do a similar shtick to their time in NXT (I hope) & it'll likely get over huge with this audience.

I am a little disappointed that Kyle signed and didn't try to build his self up elsewhere (in WWE or otherwise). I get doing what works and being with your friends, though.

Didn't mean that as them being "indy darlings," but more so that they "made their names" elsewhere and not just in WWE/NXT.
