Yo, I need this woman to get a lot better in the ring fast. She's the only person keeping AEW's boring, mediocre women's division even mildly interesting.

Re: AEW Dynamite Thread
Other than a reunion show, who really cares about ROH? I appreciate Khan's hustle but hyping this up as a HUGE announcement a a game changer is just another situation of under delivering.
No one watched ROH. ROH had Honor Club if you really wanted to watch the old footage...no one subscribed. They now own the footage of All In, but who cares. Again, congrats to him but game changer this is not.
At this point we also have to realize that he's going to "overpromise" on nearly any announcement. I was hoping he'd eventually get that out of his system and be more calculated in how he disseminates information, but that just isn't going to happen it seems.

Re: AEW Dynamite Thread
It'll get both company's back catalogs on a streaming service (HBO Max) and might lead to AEW having their live PPV's on there as well. Huge win for their audience and fans of pro wrestling, but not really a complete "game changer."

Does AEW's current model really allow them to forgo PPV revenue to livestream PPV's on HBO Max like WWE does with Peacock?
Simply rebranding AEW Dark and Elevation as ROH does nothing because no one gives a **** about those shows.
I'd like to see AEW's books. They re-upped the tv deal (I'm assuming at an increase) but have signed a ****load of wrestlers and are running more events across the country/in larger venues so expenses have to be way up compared to when they were running at Daily's Place every week.
Unless HBO Max drops a nice bag on them I'm not sure how this is a win for them. They don't need them, between their current library, Euphoria, and the upcoming Game of Thrones series I don't see why they would be hot to trot and get into the wrestling business.
Maybe AEW starts their own streaming service? If that happens then this is a win for them.Favorite Teams:

Re: AEW Dynamite Thread
I'm at the point where I don't even want to invest anything emotionally in Proud & Powerful.
This was the chance to finally build them up and start doing things away from Jericho, but instead we get more Young Bucks (hooray if your a fan cause I'm not) and continuation of this "inner feud" with UE.
While P&P are relegated to side characters in the feud between Jericho & Kingston.

Does HBO (I'm using them as an example because they've been rumored) believe that the ROH tape library is enough to increase their subscribers? I'm not sure.

Re: AEW Dynamite Thread
I'm already a Max subscriber (free with my DirecTV subscription) but if they stream live PPVs then yeah, it's a gamechanger. That's really what took WWE to the next level revenue wise. I just don't see how ROH is the gamechanger that people are saying it is.Favorite Teams:
