Who knows when they'll reveal who is under the devil mask, but one thing I always wondered about is how they brushed over the whole "if it's not MJF, then why did MJF randomly still have his devil mask in his bags?" part since MJF is the one who is claiming someone else stole his mask from his bags.

I wonder what would even be a worthwhile payoff. If it's just revealed that the group is Strong, Bennett, Wardlow or so on, that would feel like a let down.

But what if it's....ADAM! Cole took the mask from MJF, and we're seeing this stuff happening more since Cole was out of action.

One thing I liked from TNA was the BFG series.

Guess AEW didn't want to flat out rip them off and do 3pts for submission win, 2 for a pin/knockout/dq and 1 for a draw?

Hopefully the end result is meaningful, just doesn't feel as important despite all the hype they're doing for the "first modern American triple crown" stuff.

No surprise, Collision/Rampage did all time low numbers going head to head with Survivor Series.

Don't know what would make them think that's a good idea at all. How many fans of both products will be like "Major WWE show with Survivor Series or AEW Rampage/Collision...I'll go with AEW! I can always just watch WWE later or read what happened."

It's definitely the other way around. Most who watched AEW are probably AEW only fans.

Similarly the other way around too (though it's a lower crossover percentage in WWE fans who are also AEW fans). If we had an NXT TV show randomly air on Sunday during an AEW PPV, if you're a fan of both, you'd probably lean more towards the PPV.

AEW Revolution taking place in Greensboro, NC at the Greensboro Coliseum on Sunday March 3rd. Only an hour drive for me... I will definitely be there. I get to see Sting's last match in person, incredible.

AEW Revolution taking place in Greensboro, NC at the Greensboro Coliseum on Sunday March 3rd. Only an hour drive for me... I will definitely be there. I get to see Sting's last match in person, incredible.

A perfect place for it. Hopefully they bring in some other legends for that night.

So, is Schiavone the lead play by play guy on Collision now? I'm mixed about it. I'm a fan of the guy, and it's great that he can still do what he does, especially after leaving the business for so long, but Kevin Kelly and Nigel as a 2 man booth would easily be the best commentary team in wrestling.

Whenever you up the number to 3 it feels you never get a chance to digest what is happening, because someone is always talking.

But it seems like Tony Khan subscribes to the WWE idea of having a host, and 2 guys who alternate doing color and play by play to some degree. It's modern TV wrestling, and you have to constantly talk and sell and hope that people don't turn the channel or get distracted by something on their phone.

This is why McAfee was so good. I don't care if he told me a guys doing a piledriver, a tope suicida or anything. He made anything seem over the top entertaining.

That's what I think modern TV wrestling should be. Not a "host" and then a play by play and color guy. Just have entertaining voices who enhance the shows.

I hate the whole I'm going to pretend to hit you but in reality I'm going to hit the other person who I'm just going to stand here and wait for them to get up before doing it bit. It just never looks good and you can see it coming from a mile away. Also such an unnecessary swerve too especially this early, at least let it build up a bit first.
