Glad that people such as Bayley were able to be at the show too. Not the first time she's been on a different show in the crowd, but after what TNA once pulled with the Highlanders, you know people might feel uneasy doing that ever again, even if that was the lowest move a company could ever do, costing a man his job over a fake feud with another company.

Don't know if it was AEW who did it or what, but she was high up above all the fans, maybe a box suite or something, able to take it all in, but for some reason recording the whole thing on an iPad.

If there's no chanting, how will the fans know they're supposed to chant?!

Definitely feel like it's just here for now and once fans pick up on it (which they seem to have already), they'll drop the music chanting part of it and just let the fans do it.

Dynamite/Rampage in Toronto is sold out. Technically been sold out for a while but they keep opening new sections. There's people sitting behind the stage now!

It really looks like they moved the stage BACK.

They opened up a bunch of limited view seating behind the stage, but I don't see those seats at this show, but the ramp looks way longer, they had to have moved it back.

This Toronto crowd seems to be really Anti-Chris Jericho which is odd..... [emoji53]

And even the Jackal/Don Callis is getting booed in his home country. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Feels like to me fans are tired of Jericho, he needs to go away so we can miss him. That's what made him so good, we get doses of Jericho, he'd leave and be gone long enough for us to miss him. So he'd return and get a huge pop and be welcomed back.

I'm just speculating here but I wonder if the stuff that came out about him and former AEW Talent Kylie Rae turned fans against him too. Despite it being only rumors, that coming out with all the Vince stuff has turned people against him.

When Christian got hit with a low blow by "Spike" and the screen faded to black (for a second since they were switching from Dynamite to Rampage) I thought something happened and they were about to censor some visual.

Not a good look for AEW tonight. Picture going around of the very small crowd in attendance for AEW Dynamite, along with a picture of a merchandise stand that doesn't really have a lot for sale.

                  Definitely an issue for AEW.

I know when they came here even for Forbidden Door weekend, the merch selection sucked. Limited options and limited spots in the venue to even buy stuff.

The issue in the attendance had more to do with location. You're holding a show in what is basically the biggest hockey arena in North America to not have an NHL team there (relocate the Coyotes already!) If your plan isn't some PPV, why hold it in a 19,000+ seat venue?

I'd imagine ticket pricing also reflected renting a 19,000 seat venue so you had to raise prices to make the rental money back too.

Adam Copeland starts the show and he addresses the Punk comments by saying how there's been a lot of negativity, he wants to focus on the positives. Says he loves Pro Wrestling, AEW is the most fun he's had in his career.... it's almost as if Tony Khan told him to say that. WWE continues to live rent free in Tony's head.

Yo, how the **** did Edge agree to any of that promo?

You're telling me he's having a 'better time' than when he worked with his wife, or the multiple times he held the WWE tag titles with Christian, or the time he faced Undertaker at WrestleMania (The Streak vs Streak match), or his surprise return to wrestling at the Royal Rumble?

                      I can't read Edge's mind, but I call absolute bull****. [emoji3449]

AEW is playing itself into a hole of mediocrity, as much as it hurts me to say that.

I have wanted them to succeed and go far but I am finally realizing that TK has a problem that he either knows about and refuses to fix or is naively living his life as if money and actions will never have any real consequence. It's difficult to think about, really.

Jeez. Khan signs Mariah May and in six months, she's been completely misused and underutilized. Did Khan even watch any of her matches in Stardom? Khan's booking is a joke. Is May being Storm's side kick the best Khan can come up with? UGH.

If AEW wants to establish itself as a place where wrestlers can come to fizzle out, travel from city to city (with poor advertisement) throwing together matches for the hell of it without investing proper storylines for the majority, save for the ones that seem to follow Tony around then they should just say so and establish themselves as such.

This is why I don't understand talent signing there over WWE. From a creative standpoint... WWE is the better place to be.

If you're talking women's division...Tegan Nox, Nikki Cross, Xia Li, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter, Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell (until the last month), Shotzi (when not injured), and Mia Yim might beg to differ? Man, you could probably throw Kairi and even Iyo in there as characters who have no traits other than "generic member of a faction", but they're on TV so it's a step above the others.

Mariah May's fine for now. Basic wrestling storytelling tells us the protege defeats the mentor in the end, so as long as they don't **** that up she'll be alright.
