Trish aint bad but Lita is freakin horrible. There is a reason she's always hurt. She make Heindenreich look like a safe person to wrestle against. Its a good thing she hurt herself before she put someone else on the shelf. Plus she looks like 2 dollar bar skank.

As for womens wrestling in general I just cant take it seriously. Even their best matches still look extremely telegraphed and fake. I guess I'm just sexist. With that said yeah I'd still rather watch them wrestle than Kane heh.

Rock and Austin ruined wrestling for me, the way everything was so friggin' predictable and every show/match had to end with their music and them coming out on top, even if they lost. Austin was even worse than Rock.

Rock's mic skills were overrated. OVERRATED. He said the same crapola every time he opened his mouth. Lick a Llama's ****, yeah that's funny. Poontang pie? Ok maybe that was slightly funny the first time he said it, but every single f'n time he picks up the mic he's gotta say the same crap over and over.

The only reason people though Rock was good on the mic is because he never stopped talking. Rock was popular because the chicks and teenies loved him, so he got pushed.
That's the definition of someone's character being portrayed. What did you want the Rock to say? "Yeah, Triple H, you're really stupid and I'm gonna beat you down in the ring......TONIGHT!!!." He had catch phrases because that's exactly what they were...catch phrases. Poontang pie was hilarious and so was the million other skits he was involved in. Cause I'm sure you LOVED when Hulk Hogan talked about "THE LARGEST ARMS IN THE WORLD" or his "10 INCH PITHONS....BROTHER!!" The truth is everyone had their own catch phrases and those are the things you normally remember most about these characters. Macho Man use to say "OOOOOO-Yeah" like a million times a day, but that was "his" thing and it made him recognizable. The truth is, if you look at most of the wrestlers of the past, they all really weren't that good of wrestlers. Hulk Hogan had three moves, punch, boot and leg drop. But the guy is considered arguably the greatest wrestler to ever live. You center the fact that only teenies and women loved the Rock or only teenies likes Stone Cold. The truth is almost EVERYONE liked Stone Cold and The Rock black people, yellow, white, red, teenies, oldies, men, women, everyone. And I'll tell ya' another thing, I rather have the Rock talk 10 minutes a night than to hear from Triple H talk about how he's "THE GAME" every five seconds- "I am-a, The Game-a."

Actually when I was a kid I hated Hogan. Macho's "oooooh-yeah" is a lot different than Rocky's 10-minute rambles every Monday, in which he said the same exact catch phrases over and over. I'll give you that HHH is getting annoying, he is ruining wrestling too, but at least he has different words to get to the same point every week

God I hated Austin and Rock. I hate anything that makes wrestling predictable. Austin would lose a match, and you knew damn well that Raw was still ending with Austin's music and him coming out on top. At least Rocky would job every once in a while. I'd still MUUUUUCH rather watch wrestling without Austin and Rock than with them. I can say with confidence that if they came back, I would stop watching. I know a lot of people who would do the same. It must be a New York and Canada thing. We seem to be the only people to boo The Rock. He is stale.

Well, if it's Canada you're from, you guys don't count anyway. You boo the good guys and cheer the bad guys all the time. You always have. You always will.

The thing about Canadian wrestling fans that annoys the absolute hell out of me is the fact that they all think they're so much more knowledgeable about wrestling...almost as if they're "better" wrestling fans than Americans.

Tell you what, Qrashman. Take a wrestling organization that includes the likes of Chris Benoit (who I LOVE watching, by the way), Chris Jericho, Christian, Edge, Trish, Lance Storm, and any other Canadian wrestler you can think of and put it up against a promotion that brings The Rock, Stone Cold, Undertaker, Mick Foley, and Ric Flair out night in and night out and there would be no comparison, as far as television ratings are concerned. True, the actual "wrestling" would be better in the Canadian promotion, but as far as entertainment value is concerned, the American promotion would be virtually unchallenged.

So I guess it's just up to the reason you watch wrestling. Personally, if I wanted to see beautiful, graceful athletic competition instead of interesting storylines and entertaining interviews, I'd watch amateur wrestling. But that isn't what I watch WWE programming for. I like to be entertained, and nobody did that better in a wrestling ring than Steve Austin and The Rock.

Entertainment to me is being able to wrestle and have personality. Rock and Austin did nothing for me and are 2 of my least favorite WWF guys ever. I would not watch them if they returned, no way.

I dont doubt that a bunch of Rocks and Austins would outdraw Benoits and Jerichos. No doubt about that. Most Americans are friggin stupid like that. They fall for the catch phrases and good looks. Hell, Vin Deisel is an A-List actor and don't forget that a show called Desperate Housewives is the #1 show in America. Pathetic.

And I'm not Canadian, I'm from NY.

I really wish I could. Throw in Angle, Eddie, Chavo, Haas, Benjamin, London, Helms, Akio, Dinsmore, Val, Regal, and Doug Basham and a few other guys that are substance over style and you have the makings of a godlike company. The moronic masses could keep the rest. Heck on the "american" show they could completely do away with matches and most people prolly wouldnt care.

What does the title of a show have to do with it being rated #1 in America? And when did Vin Diesel become an A-List actor?

I watch wrestling intermittently, and I despise Stone Cold, but the Rock is entertaining, in small doses. I do agree that both acts have become extremely repetitive. There's a difference between character consistency and rote repetition, and both characters lean toward the latter. I actually think Rock is most effective when he speaks off the cuff, not when he's spouting some pre-prepared catch phrase. I think his mic skills are renowned for his ability to respond quickly and sound natural and at ease, as opposed to the forced, unintentionally comical stammering of most wrestlers(see:Chris Benoit). Again, I am excepting catch phrases, which I hate almost universally.
I drive a 2005 Toyota Prius Gas/Electric Hybrid. My last tank was 53.6 miles/gallon. Gas prices fear me!

Oversimplification is the escape of men who want to avoid the duty demanded by true understanding.
