Injuries have hurt the planning for this event, but the card is still really stacked well. I'll definitely be watching.

Tomohiro Ishii has been pulled from Forbidden Door due to a left knee injury.

Clark Connors has been named his replacement.

This PPV has just been snakebit with injuries. It's still a solid card, but a lot of what-ifs surround it.

Now forbidden door 2, that will be special.

In a way I guess that's the silver lining. Don't want the bar set so high from the first show that nothing after can top it.

One reason I think NJPW should win more of these matches. So now AEW has a reason for revenge the next time around. They lost more of the matches, AND had many guys out. That alone is your story to kick start forbidden door 2 whenever that might be.

I'm looking forward to the fatal 4 ways, those will be good.

I ordered the PPV today. Have a solid idea how the matches will go but I think they'll go all out. Expecting Claudio/Cesaro as the guy to face ZSJ.

I never even thought of that, I've tried avoiding any sort of rumors or spoilers, but him appearing would make so much sense.

Despite the injuries I'm still excited for this. I will be there so I better be. Though he has dismissed this on twitter the surprise could be Johnny Gargano. I'm still thinking it's Cesaro though. Which would be awesome either way.

Was thinking solely along the technical wrestler line. It's kind of been Cesaro's critique, good to great wrestler but bad on the mic.

This feels like one of those times where this event should've been on a Saturday.

You want the NJPW audience to watch live or just later in the day? Air it at 8pm ET on Saturday which would be 9am on a Sunday. Better chance of those fans being able to watch vs at 9am on a Monday.

This thing is cursed. More changes to the card lol...

AEW has announced on Twitter that NJPW superstar Hiromu Takahashi is currently dealing with a fever, and will no longer be traveling to the states to

Hiromu Takahashi has contracted a fever and is unable to fly out of Japan. Therefore, he is off the card and the eight-man Bullet Club vs Dudes with Attitudes tag match has now been made a trios tag match.

It will be The Young Bucks and El Phantasmo vs Darby Allin, Sting, and Shingo Takagi.

Sting, Darby and Shingo is a pretty cool team on paper. If you look at this show as an opportunity to see matchups and teams that you wouldn't normally get to see, I could see being excited.

There are just so many multiple person matches, I feel like the spot-per-minute ratio is going to be out of hand. I don't know what is going to rise above everything else and stand out in terms of storytelling or match psychology.

NJPW is known for their multi-man matches as well, and these cross-promotional events always seem to have them in spades.

Should be an interesting night of wrestling though tomorrow night. As long as we don't have anything major happen in the next 24 hours.

PS...found a much better poster for the first post.

I have low expectations but I am going to see this at AMC since it was only like $12 for a ticket versus buying the PPV on B/R.

I know everyone is seemingly guessing Cesaro or Gargano as the choice of ZSJ's opponent.

I'm keeping my expectations low...and here's who I am guessing...I personally wouldn't be disappointed, but if people have built themselves up to expect Cesaro or Gargano, it'll be like Christian debuting all over again.
