I like that for the second week in a row they’ve dropped hints of LA Knight getting involved with the bloodline

LA Knight: I'm easily in the top 2 and I ain't number 2.

That was an interesting end to SD.

AJ and Cena teaming up against Jimmy and Solo?

Now I want to see mega team up's.

        AJ/Cena vs Jimmy/Solo branches into Rock/Cena vs Reigns/Jimmy

This week's SD has to be up there for one of their best. Stacked from top to bottom, not a single dull moment, it was so good!

Well that sure was an electrifying Smackdown. It was pretty action packed with some big matches that I would assume to be PPV worthy. Things kicked off with the return of Pat McAfee. That was cool but the real return of The Rock. That felt like The Rock out there for sure and not Dwayne Johnson. Austin Theory held his own in this segment as he did not seem like a jobber. Great segment here. First match of the night was Balor vs Styles and it was a solid match with outside interference involved. We see too much of Judgment Day on RAW already so to see them in one segment only here was good.

That was my first time hearing some of the members of the LWO. But the fact that this group loses too much makes it hard to care for them like Del Toro and Wilde. They lost to the much needed heel turn of the Street Profits. LA Knight defeats The Miz again but it was his post match promo that got me wondering if this is means he is moving up the card now. Asuka/Bayley ended the same way as the Balor/Styles match from earlier in the night. Lastly, the main event segment. It was okay. It is setting up a tag team match scenario though for John Cena. Overall solid show of Smackdown this week. Should get a good number in viewership.

On NXT we had Ali vs Dragon Lee (with guest ref Dom) where the winner faces Dom for the NA title at No Mercy. Ali won that match.

So next week on Raw it will be Dom defending his NA title vs.......Dragon Lee?

Sounds like Tegan Nox was supposed to be the one who challenged Becky but "plans changed".

Don't get me wrong, Tegan hasn't done anything notable since probably when Dakota took her out in Wargames, but I wouldn't mind Becky or just anyone who is a champ doing what we saw at one point when Cena was champ.

Hold a battle royal featuring only competitors who have never won a world title before. Winner gets a title shot.

Womens division wise you could have Candice, Chelsea, Chance, Carter, Maxxine, Piper, Tegan, Valhalla, Zoey on Raw alone!

I really do enjoy the whole trust issues storyline with Jey where everyone remembers the past three years and what the Bloodline has done to both rosters. So much of face/heel turns in the past would be simply forgetting what a heel did, and oh hey, you are a good guy now? We friends now and I'll just forget everything you did to me.

One of those little things that makes a big difference. It's not just what you said, it's "you're a good guy NOW, but you WERE a bad guy to ME."

Continuation/psychology is such a small thing that makes a big difference when it comes to shows like WWE.

On that note, could all this be building to some big SS match?

Judgment Day and a heel McIntyre vs Zayn,Owens,Cody,Jey?

The fact the "WHAT" Chants are still a thing in 2023 is one thing but the way Cena handled it was good.

So we can pencil in another match for Fast Lane when they make it official or whatever, not the Tag Match I thought Cena would be apart of but still should be good.

This was one of the funnier ones too.

                        "I was a referee"
                        WHAT
                        "A referee"
                        WHAT
                        "An official"
                        WHAT
"A figure of authority who oversees matches"
                        WHAT
"I got nothing else, you win"

                          So, who's in the Bloodline?

Jimmy's "in the Bloodline, but is he IN the Bloodline"?

But then Cena said he has a problem with the Bloodline...BOTH of them, Jimmy and Solo.

So Jimmy's in the Bloodline? Is Reigns part of it still?

About time they finally have Alba/Isla back.

And they actually worked their gimmick into "real life misfortunes" where the women's tag titles have been "cursed" ever since they lost the titles. Just so happens their gimmick is one like witchcraft stuff with spells and so on. I'm sure they're mainly being pushed because witches, October, it makes sense, but still.

All these tag matches on SD? I thought Teddy Longs birthday was last week?

Apparently LA Knight was supposed to be on SD but has covid.

It's less work for them to run 20 replays/recaps a night over using more of that time for things like that.

And this Charlotte title story this time around makes even less sense than others have.

She's mad at Iyo for taking away her title opportunity by cashing in MITB.....AFTER the title match, on new champ Bianca Belair, who beat the reigning champ Asuka. So naturally Charlotte should be the one the most upset in this situation (and the whole "I didn't get beat in the triple threat" story imo is worse than the whole "can they coexist!?!" tag matches they do)
