Well, we got the first bad booking decision of the Triple H era out of the way. Aliyah and Raquel are both ****ing terrible.

        What?

Raquel is great, man, they've just done a bad job (IMO) of presenting her compared to her bad *** Chican gimmick in NXT.

Only reason I can think of is that they are bringing Sasha and Naomi back as heels. Maybe play the we never lost the titles angle.

About the show tonight, even at his worst, Triple H is still better than Vince.

Raquel is ok, but I've never been sold on Aaliyah.

I guess everyone wanted Sasha/Naomi so much that any other result felt disappointing.

Oh I don’t mind them not winning in general, I just think Raquel and Aliyah suck.

If you think that take was bad, I also don’t get the hype around Dakota. Was bored to death by that team in NXT.

We are all allowed to like who we want. Not a bad take at all. I get it if you disliked her even in NXT, but I just like her size and look compared to all the other ladies.

This I agree with 100%. She stands out physically against anyone. It's the in-ring that doesn't click for me.

I actually thought she showed potential in the Mae Young Classics, but not much she's done since then has sports entertained me.

I don't hate it, but makes you wonder where Sasha & Naomi fit in if they return. I get that Dakota and Io were occupied with the match on Saturday but them winning the tag titles would have set up Bayley wanting all the titles in her feud with Bianca. I still think Raquel positioned as a babyface is miscasting her as she needs to be the heel character she was in NXT.

As far as Sasha & Naomi, an interesting twist would be to turn them heel via The Bloodline. Then have Roman and the Usos treat Sasha better, they consider her family more than Sami so you play up how they continue to mistreat Sami.

I think we've all heard the rumors of people getting their first names back.

Graves said Matt Riddle, and Ciampa kept calling Miz Mike. Kind of foreshadowing maybe.

I also heard that on live event internal rosters, Theory is listed as Austin Theory. It was something like that for live events. Can't remember what it was exactly.

It wasn’t the obvious choice so I’m into it. I like Raquel a lot and athletically Alhyia can do some cool stuff so she’s probably better hidden in a tag team. I’m more curious to see what they can do with the titles then the textbook heel reign Io and Dakota would have had.

I could honestly not care less about Naomi and Sasha. I’m not even thinking about how they would factor in and really wouldn’t be bothered if they never came back. Naomi is a walking botch whose never not been corny. Sasha is obviously one of the greatest female performers in the ring. But she’s also the only one of the horsewomen whose character has progressed and evolved exactly 0% since she came up. I’m good.

Miz never lost his first name the way others did, did he? I think it just kinda morphed into him being The Miz. Kinda like where only a few people would call Triple H 'Hunter 'in promos now.

I think that's what they were going for - showing that the bond between Miz and Ciampa is at the point where Ciampa uses the more personal Mike.

I'm with a lot of people for this week's RAW. This might have been the most lackluster RAW of the Triple H era. Only some segments were good for me. The Judgment Day stable is still not working for me as I still find them kinda boring. The opening tag team match was okay. Edge coming out and having the Misterios was cool though. But its a shame that Rhea is stuck in this and not going after Bianca for the RAW Women's Title. Speaking of that Title, Bianca has no feud for now since she's teaming with Bliss-Asuka for now. They fought against a group of jobbers? Thats new.

Was cool to finally see Gable having a promo with Kurt Angle since we continue to compare him to Angle. The Alpha Academy vs Street Profits was a good match and they made me believe that the Alpha Academy was going to win but it went to the Street Profits. Remember when the Miz and Bobby Lashley fought for the WWE Title last year? That felt like ages ago. I miss RAW having a World Title program. Jey Uso vs Kevin Owens might be the match of the night. Solid promo before this match too with Sami Zayn acknowledging that Owens is his boy. Finally, the Women's Tag Team Title match. I felt that was a lackluster match and did not think Racquel and Aliyah were going to win. I think Sky/Kai needed it more. I dont even know how Racquel and Aliyah became a tag team. I missed a few weeks of Smackdown recently. Thats why it was hard for me to buy them winning. Looks like the 24/7 stuff and Ezekiel is gone now though.

Mike was never his WWE name. Hasn't he always been The Miz. If anything, they just mention Mike because they're branching off into reality (since he's Mike "The Miz" Mizanin).

HHH just switched from Hunter Hearst Helmsley to Triple H because the long name was part of his blue blood gimmick.

But Riddle going back to Matt Riddle, Theory going back to Austin Theory is good.

I wonder who else will get changes. Do we get Tommaso Ciampa back, or do they ditch it still because Tommaso is his real name.

I don't see Otis getting his last name back. But you never know.

Hopefully we have name changes for TBar, Doudrop, Butch (I don't mind having him even as "Butch" Dunne), Shotzi.

And the most important of all, we need Big E Langston back. That man has gone almost a decade without his family!

Guys, I know Miz never lost his name. Or was ever officially called Mike. I've been watching wrestling since I was 8. lol

What I meant was, they were using his name loosely. Like here's another first name being said all night. Like literary foreshadowing that they might be bringing back more first names. Like they aren't afraid to use them.

Maybe I just read too much into it, or want it to happen with others too much and just saw it as they aren't afraid to use them more. Nobody has ever really called Miz Mike more than like once or twice over a period of time. Not consistently like Ciampa was doing. Maybe it was the bonding thing. I just thought it was interesting, and was waiting for Miz to call him Tommaso.
