Rey vs Woods will be just the 2nd time on TV that Mysterio has ever faced a member of the New Day in a singles match.

First time was Kofi Kingston back in 2008!

        Updated IC title design.

That's exactly what it should've been all along.

Being gold on gold doesn't stand out. Now you added back the blue/water to the globe so it looks cooler.

Last week of the 3 hour Raw on USA era. Next time it's 3 hours is on Netflix. In Canada, last time Raw was 2 hours, it was on TheScore (the network most known to WWE fans for launching the careers of Renee and Jackie).

        Woods wins by unmasking Mysterio!

        Truth is back!

Strowman: You got hit by 5 tsunamis.

        Truth: I don't remember that.

Miz: What are you doing here?

Truth: I work here...I got us a match with Aop.

Miz: You mean AOP, authors of pain?

Truth: What books have they written?

Finn: I'm going to prove to the world that it was YOU that needed us, it was YOU that needed ME! That the Judgment Day never needed Damian Priest.

Um................ both Damian & Rhea were the first two recruited in the Judgment Day. Imagine if Edge was still in WWE and actually came back to side with Priest & Rhea against the new Judgment Day.

To be fair, the group didn't really take off until Finn joined, but really became the talking point for Raw once Dom joined.

I was at least hoping for a Miz/Maryse vs Karion/Scarlett mixed tag match. Oh well, but I really like what they are doing with him where it's similar to when wrestlers would feud with The Fiend. They would turn and reveal their true self. Seth turned heel after facing The Fiend, Miz reunited with Morrison as if it was 2010 after he feuded with The Fiend, Daniel Bryan went from heel back to being a face again.

Karion for weeks getting into the head of Woods and it all accumulating into that Woods heel turn is going to be so good.

Rollins Is Back!!! Man, I really hate how USA Network really rushes off the air and they are even doing it on Smackdown too. Like can we not take in the moment of what's happening. Yes, WWE should take an extra minute or two off somewhere themselves to allow for that but still.

Turns out he's encouraging everyone to "Kross" their partner.

I forgot AJ changed his theme.

When is def rebel going away again?

This feels like a weird PLE time, similar with Survivor Series in Vancouver.

The SD before the Saturday show is in a different city. We've been getting so used to the same city getting back to back nights you almost forget how common this is.

Feels weird hearing Cole run down AJ Styles history through TNA in Nashville.

AJ gets hurt in his return match, at least he could could walk away by himself.

Chelsea Green and her "trashion". Give her the title already.

Bayley fully broke Tiffany. Tiffany literally left speechless and called Bayley by her real name.

I love how they just had Chelsea walk backstage and the entire locker room reacts to her coming out of the dumpster, and Grayson Waller with his best Samantha impression, then Carmelo sniffs Aldis having no idea the smell came from Chelsea who was there a few seconds before.

Jacob Fatu should be required to do 100% of the Bloodline promos from now on.

Re: WWE RAW & Smackdown Thread

I understand that the Judgment Day & Bloodline are the two biggest factions and have the top storylines at the moment but take the damn tag titles off both them. Finn & JD have only defended them once since winning them, plus it makes no sense with Finn in a singles feud with Priest. The Bloodline outside of tonight and a few other times haven't done much with them either.

Cody or Roman should have cost them tonight, even if they aren't there, play their music to distract them or something. WWE's tag division is actually good if you take the titles outside of the Judgment Day & Bloodline storylines. It's like Cody's biggest problem, all of his interesting feuds since winning at Mania have been outside of the Bloodline storyline.

Chelsea Green is a star. She shines with whatever material she is given. Backstage skits. In ring work. Her character is just solid. Great Dumpster match against Michin where Michin needed the win but Chelsea continues to show why she belongs in the company. Sucks that she is always jobbing and hopefully she gets rewarded someday in the future. Speaking of jobbing, when was the last time Tiffany Stratton won a match since winning that MITB briefcase?

No clue if the AJ Styles injury angle is a work or not. But was nice to see him back. He just keeps changing from being a face or a heel. I lost track. Main event Tag Team Title Ladder match was nuts though. Haven't seen a ladder match on free TV for a while so this was refreshing to see as it contained some nice spots too. Good show this week for Smackdown.

Chelsea's in the tough position at being TOO GOOD at doing what she's doing where she might be stuck in that spot when she should be in a way bigger position than she is.

HHH with an real interesting revelation for Raw on Netflix.

He was asked about Raw going to 2 hours this week for the rest of 2024 and the duration of the show on Netflix.

He said "I'll let you know when I know" which isn't something I've heard anyone say once since this deal was announced.

Everyone's just assumed it's 3 hours on Netflix. But could it not be? They're going back to 2 for now because this is the extension of their current USA network deal which picked up Raw for 1 extra quarter.

So perhaps Netflix executives are monitoring this closely and possibly seeing if a 2 hour show would work for them. Given its WWE, its not gonna be fully ad free even if they say it is like they say for PLEs, so I could see 2.5 hours "ad free" being the length but with WWEs typical ads mixed in between segments so it would be closer to a 2 hour show anyways which is basically the current TV length when you edit out all ads.

I wonder what time they choose too. If it's just 2 hours, do they go 8-10ET or 9-11ET like Raws old timeslot? I think 8-10 (or 10:30) works best for a number of reasons. 2 hour ad free Raw with "overrun" (would it still be overrun if it's not on cable/network tv?) would be perfect. I miss those days of 2 hour Raws where the final 10-15 mins were the best part of the show with the biggest story, most talked about moment, cliffhanger, all with no breaks.

                                2 hour Raw tonight.

Funny enough, I'm feeling a similar way about tonight as I used to feel about 3 hour Raws before 2012.

Not that this show will be over the top stacked or filled with nostalgia acts, but it's a cool change of what we've gotten used to the last 12 years.

It's also 8-10 instead of the old 9-11 2 hour format, so this will be first time I believe I've ever watched Raw that ends at 10pm ET.

Now I'll know how central timezone people feel.
