That would work too. Didn't know if Trish is competing or not.

Maybe Becky/Lita vs Iyo/Kai for the tag titles, but it ends in a DQ or Bayley helping them retain. Which sets up the need for a 3rd.

Even if it's for a few weeks, I'd love seeing Trish/Lita getting the tag titles.

Yeah, I have no idea - it's a total guess on my part. Since they usually like to pair Trish and Lita together I just figured if one showed up the other can't be too far behind.

Yeah, she is the female John Cena or NXT-era Bayley. I enjoy her in-ring work so it doesn't bother me.

(Bayley was more of underdog character who had to work her way to the top. Still, her gimmick and character was definitely meant for younger girls. Like Liv Morgan (sort of) and Nikki A.S.H.)

They do need to add another layer to her character at some point, though.

I thought her coming in as a monster heel that slowly turns babyface (ala Batista) was the better move. Instead, they kept her cold for a few months (after her initial debut), then strapped a rocket to her and the rest is history.

Becky/Lita/Trish vs Damage Ctrl would work for Montreal, sure it's not Toronto but it's still Canada. As for Wrestlemania, yeah it does seem odd that Bayley & Becky wouldn't have a title match. Unless you drag it out to Wrestlemania and it ends in Hell In A Cell or something.

Gah damn, everything with this Bloodline/Reigns/Sami **** is gold. I haven't looked this forward to wrestling **** since the YES! movement.

I don't ever want Reigns as a face: whatever this era in wrestling is considered, he's a GOAT heel.

Chelsea coming up to file a complaint to Pierce (the SmackDown manager) about Pierce (the RAW manager) was gold. That's the kind of content I need in my life lol.

As usual the Bloodline stuff is just *chef's kiss*

                  Cole: Hey Wade.
Wade: I think I know what you're going to say.
                  Cole: It's... FIGHT NIGHT!
                  Wade: Didn't Disappoint.

Also the way Samantha Irvin introduced Hit Row, so on point to how their theme song starts. She was already good with the way she introduces each member of Imperium... plus Michael Buffer even complimented her on Twitter!

Re: WWE RAW & Smackdown Thread

So very very small thing, but I'm weird and notice little stuff and weird stuff that other people don't care about irks me. I saw when Heyman was out with the titles earlier that the world titles are back to having actual snaps on the straps instead of velcro. Could be a preference from champion to champion thing with Triple H in charge since I see the Uso's titles still had velcro on the straps. But I know for sure the Universal and WWE titles previously had velcro like all the other titles and it's recently changed.

The titles in general need to be changed as I'm sure we've discussed previously, but damn does the change to velcro straps make them look even worse. I'm sure it's easier to put them on for the talent, but it just looks cheap.

I'm usually saying how great I think her introductions are.

Definitely wished she was doing intros for the WWE 2K3 instead of Mike Rome.

Well that's one way around the Usos' DUI issues and whether they can get into Canada or not. Also... oh so clever too. "Sometimes you see things on TV that you don't see live"... fully referencing Jey and Sami's conversation before he left.

I know we are all emotional for Sami and want him to have a Daniel Bryan moment and all but I see what everyone else has been saying. It's about Jey Uso breaking from The Bloodline, it's about his story, not Sami's.

It’s so crazy to go back to the beginning of all of this. The Jey vs Roman feud that was supposed to just be a one off but they were so damn good that they extended it. And now look where we are. I’ll say it, I’ll defend it. This is hands down the greatest story that has ever been told in professional wrestling.

If that's the case, than both Sami and Cody need to lose and Roman needs to hold until Summerslam to lose to Jey so they can play up the breakup and subsequent struggle for control.

But even though I like them, I really don't see Jey Uso as a standard bearer. That's the only problem.
