Rumors that they could announce Batista HOF during that show.

The HOF is in 4 weeks. Surprised nothing has been announced about it yet.

No way Cena goes in yet (announcing on Monday in Boston), right? Especially before Rock, Batista, HHH and others.

I would have rather seen Gunther vs. Brock, but it seems like that was never on the table.

I think that sounds good but really I feel like it’s a waste of Gunther. Lesnar matches are what they are at this point. He’s not going to have a 20 minute amazing match like when he was younger. I’d rather they give Gunther someone he could potentially steal the show with.

Good point, I wanted it more as a "passing of the torch" match than for some "mat classic" since Gunther has delivered on that.

Sounds like all that was done just to set up a #1 Contenders match next week.

Kofi, Kross, LA being in that IC title match makes no sense, but I want to see LA Knight do something meaningful at WM. But I'd settle for him being the guy who cuts a promo at WM and has some segment with a returning legend.

Sheamus vs McIntyre vs Gunther at WM on the other hand...that'll be the match of the show.

That was a fine promo between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns on Smackdown. This feud needed something to start with and this was a nice way to start. Although bringing up Dusty is starting to get old. But all the stuff that Roman mentioned about Dusty being his mentor and never mentioning Cody was pretty powerful. Nice way to get you to root for Cody and make Roman feel like the "bad guy" since he was chosen a long time ago. So I get what they were going with in this promo. Roman's Dusty impression was spot on too. I really wish we got to see this Roman a long time ago. Not until he turned heel that he finally got to stuff that is entertaining.

Oh yes, the time of the year when wrestlers can appear on whatever show they want now. Rhea faces Liv Morgan in a nice match. Liv has really showed why she outlasted her former Riot Squad mates. Dominik gets to be on the show because he is still feuding with his Dad. I get it. Poor Drew McIntyre. He wants a WM match. I assume this is leading to a triple threat IC Title match with Gunther. Bobby Lashley made a rare Smackdown appearance to confront Bray Wyatt. But Bray wasn't there. Bloodline stuff continues to main event the show. Sometimes I wish the Usos would not hold both Tag Team Titles hostage. This storyline has really made the Tag Team Titles an afterthought now.

It's harsh and obviously you don't want to see anyone released. Just how she has survived budget cuts the past few years and more talented superstars were cut instead.... it baffles me. She doesn't do anything noteworthy.

She's 2nd generation, is seen as a good hand, her husband has been a producer there for years and years now, was featured on Total Divas forever, and I think her connection to Ronda has been seen as helpful to the company. She's gonna be a HOFer, I'd bet on it.

All of that means you need to watch her wrestle and like it lol.

She's probably good at helping the younger/inexperienced women with basics, pacing for TV matches, etc.

She's never been able to put it all together to make herself interesting but I feel like in theory she at least knows what's supposed to work.

Amazing promo by Cody and Roman. Wish this feud has been active for the last year too. I think it would have had it not been for the injury but man, I would have loved to seen an actual week-to-week story on this one. I just crave that Austin/Rock every show thing something was happening and not just talking, you know?

And I want LA Knight to be in the show too. He's done well and he's obviously quite magnetic. Trying to be a heel but is getting some face reaction. Maybe branch off from that scrum and pair him up against Kross. I don't know. I like Kross a lot too and he can't afford many more losses.

I just think IC title should absolutely only be Walter vs McIntyre vs Sheamus. That would be just....so good. Three guys who always put on a show and are what I'd call traditionalists. Would be amazing. I just don't know how I'd write that outcome. You could go with the obvious Sheamus and McIntyre cost each other and Walter survives, you could go with McIntyre being rewarded in this considering how great he's been the last 3 years and as a stepping stone to again getting into the main event picture. You could reward Sheamus again for again doing everything it takes to be entertaining and great in his career, one last run, winning and having Pete Dunne turn on him to take it, etc. Dunne vs Walter for IC down the line would be insane much the same way. Kinda want Walter to walk out of WM still champ. But you don't want to Lesnar him either, where there ends up being no viable competitor. Think he has to lose.
