We are getting closer to The Way Reuniting on the main roster. Dexter needs to go back to NXT and get his wife, then bring back Johnny and Candice. Theory will be so happy to see his parents, his sister and brother in law back.

I find it hilarious how Kross and Dexter both had reports of them returning to the company then showing up on WWE TV hours later lol.

I love that they are heavily featuring Ciampa. He is a top tier talent.

The match with Lashley and him was great and it doesn't matter that he lost. They made him look like a star tonight. Not many can push Lashley into a an actual wrestling match like that. That was great booking.

And good to see Lumis back. And good to see the dirt sheets have been on the money lately.

It was another good show. Changes for the better continue to be seen and felt.

The wrestling has been great. The storylines are making sense. The right people are being pushed. This is a great time to be a wrestling fan.

I would have to say RAW this week was slightly above average. Nice opening promo with a botch from Bayley in pronouncing Iyo Sky's name. Where is this Rollins and Street Profits thing going? Is it to help give them time to shine in solo matches? Is the real Kevin Owens back now too? That was much needed to see from him after he destroyed Ezekiel. Great match between Balor/Misterio and lol at Dominik getting punked from Rhea again. I am anxious to see Sasha Banks and Naomi back so this Women's Tag Team Titles tournament is kinda baffling to me. But Dakota Sky and Iyo Sky looked great in that tag team match.

Lashley vs Ciampa for the US Title was a good match and they really did made us believe that Ciampa had a chance to win it. Gable/Ziggler was a solid match too and I'm not used to seeing Ziggler as a face. Main event match between AJ Styles and Miz was fine for what it was. The show was in Cleveland which is Miz's hometown. But without much stakes involved, it was just whatever to me. This is why having a World Title scene makes things more engaging to watch. Please WWE. Stop with this Unified Championship Title hostage...

I'm of the opinion that they need to split them up again, especially if there are going to be "huge" gaps in time where Roman just disappears. Can't we at least get vignettes/video packages or something? Throw us a bone, WWE.

Yeah, but I agree that it just makes things less compelling or interesting having the main and/or biggest draw not around. Especially when they centered so much of the show around him during and post Thunderdome - era.

That's what the shows are still lacking, IMO. A hook.

Weird how a lot of us are split on what to do with the main belt(s).

I don't think it's terribly weird. We've all demonstrated we have a wide range of people here, so it would make sense that people value titles differently. Some will say the titles being scarce makes them feel more special, some will say having them be scarce makes you forget about them. I legitimately could not name the previous five Universal Champions, or WWE Champions because it's been awhile for me that the title has felt important. Roman and Brock are the guesses I would make, and I knew Drew and Bobby traded the WWE title for a minute probably 2 years ago. Just to be clear here btw, this isn't a shot at WWE for anything, this is also partially that I casually watch WWE as opposed to other wrestling offerings.

Either way, it just reflects one of the things I enjoy most about wrestling, not everything is for everybody. There's a few segments every month in the "On this day in Professional Wrestling History" thread that people seem excited about that did nothing for me when they happened, nor do anything for me now, but I love that people enjoy them. Furthermore, I think it's also kinda fun when everyone gets together and universally pans a move. Taking away those weird tribal people in the AEW vs WWE internet comment wars, I thought a lot of the memes and content that came from the Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch ending were great.

Anyway, I don't know why I'm typing all of this, maybe it's just because I feel wrestling as a whole feels in a much better place for everyone than it ever has been in my lifetime. But whichever route WWE decides to go with the titles, I'm sure some will hate it, and some will love it. As long as my boy Cody gets one day with the WWE strap though, I'm good with whatever that choice is.

I do think the titles being scarce makes them feel more special, but they’ve swung too far in that direction now.

I liked what they were doing on Smackdown during the first half of Reigns’ reign. He wasn’t wrestling often, but he would still have an in-ring promo or be seen backstage. Even if he wasn’t doing much, his presence was there. They lost that.

He technically doesn't work for WWE as of now (storyline wise)? The way the backstage segment went before (with security running through the backstage area) and then them hauling him away in the crowd, he's stalking his way back into WWE?

Is he targeting AJ, Miz, Ciampa?

The Way on the main roster and Theory rejoining would be great. I think they could really get Theory over more as a face with The Way. In NXT he was more like the "lovable goof" type of character. Him as Mr.MITB with "Papa John" guiding him could do wonders for his eventual cash in.
