Re: WWE 2K14 Universe Mode Thread- How's Your's Going

      WRESTLEMANIA 30!

      DAY 1

      def.

Two of the WWE's ladies' men went at it as the first of many Wrestlemania matches. Rick Rude made his return at the big event, being managed by Bobby "the Brain" Heenan. Rude was doing well, even landing a piledriver, until Fandango spun him with a reverse STO at 6:27. The dancer did a northern lights suplex and a facebuster next. A fancy Russian leg sweep and another reverse STO that nearly saw Rude hit his face on a chair finished things up at 10:22.

      def.
A pair of wrestling's more violent beasts met in match 2. Joe STOed Batista at 4:30, the first signature move of the match. Batista answered back with one of his one on the outside about two minutes after. He destroyed the Samoan Submission Machine with a Batista Bomb on the ground. Batista sent Joe down with a spinebuster at 13:16. A falling back suplex drew a close 2 count. The tide turned a few minutes later as Joe locked the Animal in the Cocina Clutch, which won him the U.S. title some months ago. Batista still had more in the tank, but a German suplex did the job.

      def.

These quiet technicians mostly let their work do the talking. Although Curtis Axel is sometimes cocky with Paul Heyman at his side. Malenko was on fire, flashing the lucha ability he had back in the day. There was some good submissions and counters mixed in. A tiger bomb at 9:08 almost ended it. Axel turned the Ice Man's head around for a hangman facebuster for the 3 count.

      def.

Three men fought for England supremacy. And surprisingly, it was excellent. The announce table broke with an arm drag by McGuinness onto Magnus. Magnus and Nigel also double-suplexed Bulldog on the remains. A Nigel lariat drew a close 2. When they got back inside, Bulldog tried for a quick crucifix pin. They teamed up on Davey Boy again with a suplex, and Magnus continued the onslaught by punching his face until he bled. A little after, the former TNA champion and Bulldog chokeslammed McGuinness. The ROH alumni also took a pumphandle slam from Magnus. A Magnus Driver on McGuinness was the decisive move as Magnus tossed Bulldog out of the way with a belly-to-belly.

      def.

Bobby Roode was reminded of his Beer Money roots for a match with the Million Dollar Man. Businessman/investor/commentator JBL was the manager for DiBiase on this occasion. Roode showed off some power with a belly-to-belly suplex and a sit-out spinebuster. He nailed Ted with a RR spinebuster at 5:15. That and a powerslam both got 2 counts. DiBiase recovered and slapped on the Million Dollar Dream. He flipped over Roode with a gutwrench suplex then went back-first on to a steel chair via another spinebuster. The "It Factor" was able to tap DiBiase out with an arm-trap crossface.

      def.

Next up were Chris Benoit and Tyson Kidd, among Canada's best grapplers. The Dungeon students are both great technicians, with Kidd having the edge in youth and speed while Benoit has the experience - especially in big matches. There were submissions and reversals galore. Around the 7:00 mark, Benoit tossed around Kidd with a german suplex trio. He cinched in the Crippler Crossface but it wasn't over yet. Tyson might have broken Benoit's neck due to a tiger driver. That got him going as he hit a Code Blue for a nearfall. A shining wizard at 9:27 secured the upset win.

      def.

Four of the WWE's top high-flyers teamed against each other for what would prove to be exciting action, as expected. Evan Bourne took a break from his tag team with Kofi (Air Boom) to join newly-crowned nXt champion Adrian Neville. They would go up against the incomparable "Whole F'n Show", Rob Van Dam, and "The Charismatic Enigma", Jeff Hardy. There was some fast-paced fun. Bourne flipped RVD on to a chair with a hurricanrana, then put him through a table with a drop toe hold. On the inside, Neville dropkicked a prone Hardy, who returned with a springboard dropkick. Bourne did a release northern lights suplex as Hardy alley-ooped Neville. Jeff went for a pin after a Twist of Fate as RVD did a standing moonsault on Bourne. Bourne and Neville regained control as the former splashed onto RVD from the apron and the latter front-slammed Hardy. They came together for a standing moonsault and dropkick to their opponents. With Neville distracted, Van Dam reversed a Bourne attempt and rolled him up for the 3 count. It's the first victory for the veterans so far tonight.

      def.

These men are well-known for being tough brawlers in the ring, and also being very outspoken. And this one was brutal, as advertised. At 6:27, Steen threw Piper with a Steenalizer. Roddy fired back with a series of punches ending with a hefty right that took the big man off his feet. At 7:50, Piper bloodied "the Antichrist" with a piledriver. It was not enough for the 3 count. Steen recovered but was countered when going for what looked like the package piledriver. He rolled with a fireman's carry drop then caught Hot Rod mid-air for an F-Cinq. The breathtaking maneuver got a 2.9 count. Ultimately, Steen went to a bear hug to force Piper to give up.

This ends Day 1, pretty good so far.

Re: WWE 2K14 Universe Mode Thread- How's Your's Going

        WRESTLEMANIA 30!

        DAY 2

        def.

The 2-time Intercontinental champion meets the 1-time nXt champion. Ultimate Warrior amazed crowds with his intensity in the '90s, with his crowning moment coming at Wrestlemania 6, when he defeated Hulk Hogan for the WWF championship. Big E had his fanbase in Florida, albeit on a smaller scale. But they share huge power with some agility and charisma. Both would be likely to exhibit that power if they wanted to put the other down for the three count. Big E was impressive, muscling the 275-lb Warrior around. A belly-to-belly suplex and a back body drop around the 7-minute mark got 2 counts. The Warrior revived himself and a powerslam brought him back. He lifted the 290-pound Big E up and dropped him with a gorilla press. He furthered the damage with a front slam and an STO on steel steps, only to be picked up and slammed with a one-handed spinebuster. At that point, he had nothing more to give and Big E earned the upset win.

        def.

Adam Cole was in his own world after he won the Ring of Honor World title months ago. He departed shortly after, saying that he had nothing left to accomplish in the company and that stars like him were made to be in the big time. Mr. Perfect was full of similar confidence in his hey-day, but both can back it up in the ring. They are technically skilled and would be willing to show it any day of the week. The winner would have a lot to brag about when all was said and done. Perfect was backed by his long-time manager Bobby Heenan. Cole was eager and Perfect was slyly countering his grapples. Soon enough, the once ROH TV champ settled in. This became a recurring instance throughout the match. He locked Hennig in the figure-four leg lock and pulled off a shining wizard. They went to the outside and Cole taunted a downed Perfect, receiving a Perfectplex for his trouble. The 24 year-old blocked a dropkick and floated over for a DDT. They exchanged small package pins but it went to a deadlock. Cole hit the Florida Key at 8:36, then sneaked in a second small package, this time getting away with a pinfall. He's one-upped the legend but I'd like to see him do it in a second encounter.

        IWGP World Heavyweight Championship

Hiroshi Tanahashi (c) def. Kazuchika Okada

The Rainmaker left the IWGP title behind to travel and become a star in America. His rival, the previous title holder - Hiroshi Tanahashi - regained the belt from the incumbent champion. Naturally, the "Once in a Century Talent" Tanahashi has arrived for Wrestlemania to have another classic with Okada. Okada has accepted the challenge, in order to bring the title back to where it belongs - and rake in some cash too. WWE is getting a great taste of today's puro talents here. Tanahashi broke out the Styles Clash from old opponent AJ Styles three minutes in. Okada drew a nearfall with the Rainmaker lariat at 5:52. He irish-whipped Tana into the corner and hip splashed him, before finding himself being dropped with a dragon suplex. At 8 minutes, Okada crushed the 5-time champion with a Tombstone piledriver. He unleashed a second Rainmaker right after. That shook Tanahashi, who didn't get much going until a spinning side slam and an electrifying High Fly Flow. Okada flap-jacked his face, but took a signature Slingblade from the Ace. "The New Age Star" began to get aggressive, launching Tanahashi from the top with a super back drop and booting his face off. Okada tried for a second, being wrapped into a second full nelson suplex pin for a three count. "The High-Flying Star" has retained his IWGP championship and I'm interested to see if he's here to stay.

        def.

Similar to the tag match earlier, this is cruiserweight entertainment. These four are some of the top super juniors the WWE has to offer. Devitt's European championship is not on the line. At 5:24, Kofi KO'ed Gabriel with a Trouble in Paradise. At the same time, Eddie landed an elbow on Devitt, who lay on a table. Latino Heat almost had Devitt with a german suplex pin. Gabriel dropkicked Kofi off the apron as Eddie planted Devitt with Splash Mountain and Gory bombs. The Capetown Werewolf wins contendership to the Rock n' Rolla's European championship - he expunged Kofi with an Emerald Flowsion.

        def.
Wade Barrett of Preston, England and Sheamus of Dublin, Ireland. Drew McIntyre of Ayr, Scotland and William Regal of Codsall (or Blackpool) England. This is a war among the United Kingdom's international superpowers. All four are brutish brawlers with a vicious side that they unleash when the job needs to be done. At 4:57, Barrett stiffly elbowed Regal with the Bullhammer. Less than 4 minutes later, he hoisted up the old pro for Wasteland. Meanwhile, McIntyre took a High Cross on to steel steps from Sheamus. Regal then dipped into his bag of dirty tricks with the Power of the Punch to Barrett. The Sinister Scotsman recovered from the Cross and delivered a Future Shock to Sheamus in response. Regal hooked Barrett's leg for a Regal-Plex that drew a two count. The Celtic Warrior and the Bare-Knuckle Brawler landed a Winds of Change and an Irish Curse in stereo. The Great White tacked on a White Noise for good measure. "The Prince" Wade Barrett finished off Regal with a second Bullhammer to win it for his team.

        def.

Goldberg lit WCW on fire in 1998 with his unprecedented dominance and heralded streak of over 170 consecutive wins. Ryback was compared for having similar power and intensity, eliminating all comers for a year until he ascended to the WWE title picture. Many were reminded of Goldberg's rise to winning the WCW World title as Ryback challenged C.M. Punk that October. Goldberg isn't keen on "the Big Guy" being in his league, while Ryback plans to live up to and surpass these claims. Regardless of if he's an imitation or not, both are unstoppable machines. And it only makes sense to see what happens when two terminators have to shut down the other. For the first portion of the match, Goldberg maintained control. He hit the Jackhammer and a gorilla press slam on Ryback. The "Human Wrecking Ball" stole his finisher to turn the tables. He proceeded with a Shell Shock, back body drop, and spinebuster, none of which were able to end it. A second Jackhammer on Ryback was the decisive manuever.

        def.

Surely this contest between the two masked marvels of WWE brought back memories of the classic cruiserweight title matches in 1990s WCW. Sin Cara sees Rey Mysterio, perhaps the best high-flyer of all time, as his mentor. There would be lucha abound and lots of excitement. 5 minutes in and the pace was thrill-inducing. They traded many a standing moonsault. Rey busted out a moonsault through the announce table on Sin Cara. He did another breath-taking moonsault off the turnbuckle. Rey continued his momentum with a 619 and a splash, surprisingly only getting a 1 count. Black-donned Cara was flashy with a tilt-a-whirl small package and a Canadian Destroyer. He whipped Rey into the corner, but was rolled into a pinning predicament for the three count.

        def.

Jay Lethal is one of today's fresh and fun superstars. He exudes high energy reminiscent of good ole' Surfer Sting, the California beach bum. Their history goes back to their days on TNA Impact. Lethal earned the first nearfall with a Lethal Injection at 3:26. The Stinger brought him down head-first with a Scorpion Death Drop shortly after. Jay got back into it with a triangle dropkick and a belly-to-back into neckbreaker. Sting returned the offense with some clotheslines, a half-nelson bulldog, and then a running one-handed variation. The Icon incorporated a gorilla press slam next. They traded more signatures until a second Death Drop ended it at 14:05.
        -------------------------------------------------------------
The vets are firing back here on Day 2. We're nearing closer to the main events on Day 3.

Re: WWE 2K14 Universe Mode Thread- How's Your's Going

Wow I need some major advice. I cannot decide or stick with any type of setup. I want a blend of some legends and current and want to know what people have done. Are separate shows better or are combined ones better.

Currently I have Raw, Smackdown, Attitude, and Golden/New Generation shows. It is a lot to manage and feel I am missing out on some fun matchups. I prefer to use the rosters without caws.

Do I just replace people I won't play as with people I would? Or any other suggestions or some fun ways to play.

I have won like 25 Super Bowls in Madden so I am kinda a big deal.

There are only 3 weeks left till Money In The Bank folks and tonight there are two qualifying matches on the card. The Tag Team Champions will also be in action tonight. Get ready folks this is going to be a good show.

                  Match Card:
Match 1 MiTB Qualifier: Bobby Lashley vs. RVD
                  Spoiler

Match 2 MiTB Qualifier: Eddie Guerreo vs Razor Ramon
                  Spoiler

Match 3: Undertaker w/Kane vs King Kong Bundy w/Ted DiBiase
                  Spoiler

Match 4: Goldberg vs. Sgt. Slaughter
                  Spoiler

Main Event Submission: Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Savage
                  Spoiler

                  Results....

Match 1: Bobby Lashley has made his name known in the WWE Championship ladder recently and now he feels he is ready to take the next step and one way to do that he says his to be the “WWE Champion. That way everyone will know who I am”. RVD on the other hand is being given a shot at Lashley because these two have history and he wanted to break Lashley's spirit by winning this match and getting into the MiTB match.
The match was back and forth as both men fought to get the upper hand early on and neither were successful in doing so. Lashley hit The Dominator on RVD and he thought that was it but RVD kicked out at one. Lashely just wanted to dominate RVD and he did just that after he got control after a botched top rope move from Van Dam as he pinned RVD and secured his spot in the Money In The Bank match.

Match 2: This is a match up of two of the baddest men in WWE history as they collide for a spot in the Money In The Bank match. Both men said that only one of these two bad bad men will be able to get the briefcase and earn the right to face the Champion at any time.
Eddie was in complete and total control and he had all the momentum when out of nowhere it seemed Razor began his comeback and once he hit the Razor's Edge it was all over as he got the win by pinfall and got his spot in the Money In The Bank match.

Match 3: Last week Kane made short work of DiBiase in their singles match. This week Undertaker looks to do the same to King Kong Bundy. Both Kane and DiBiase will be at ringside to support their tag team partner just in case shenanigans ensue.
Before the match really got going both Kane and DiBiase started jawing at each other and to maintain order, the ref ejected both men from ringside so it was just Taker and Bundy in the ring at the mercy of each other. These two giants of men collided and used raw power to do damage to the other. Taker hit a flying clothesline and then a Tombstone Piledriver on Bundy but he kicked out at a very close 2. All of that was for nothing though as Taker won by putting Bundy in a sleeper hold. It really was all Taker in the end just like his brother last week.

Match 4: Goldberg last week sent a message to Hogan by beating him in a singles match that this time he was in for a fight for Hogan's WWE Championship belt. This week Goldberg looks to keep riding that high he is on and claim another victim by beating Sgt. Slaughter.
Goldberg came out as intense as ever and he didn't let Slaughter muster any offense in this one. Hogan's music played to try and distract Goldberg but it did nothing to stifle the momentum Goldberg had as he hit the Military Press Spinebuster on Slaughter and got the win by pinfall. After the match Hogan came to the ramp and Goldberg chased after him, none too pleased with the distraction he caused during the match.

Main Event: Last week HBK got the win over Eddie Guerrero and after that match Randy Savage and Shawn had a stare down from the ramp to the ring. These two face each other tonight to try and gain an edge for their future title match at Money In The Bank.
This match was what you would call a reverse fest because it seemed like every move had a counter to it and in this type of match that is what you want to do. Shawn manged to get the Sharpshooter on Randy Savage but he got to the ropes in time. Savage went up top for his Elbow Drop but Michaels moved out of the way in the nick of time. That didn't stop Savage though because he locked in the Surfboard on HBK and made him tap out to get in win. After the match the Macho Man grabbed the belt and held it over his head then dropped it on Michaels' chest as he left the ring.

News: Since Andre wants to put Benoit in his place so badly the Legend Show GM has decided to add them to the Money In The Bank match at the PPV. The final 2 competitors will be decided next week in matches.

Restarted Universe, not aiming for realism here.

I'm having a CAW I made feud with Fandango over Summer Rae. The CAW (Conrad Mack, a UFC fighter turned wrestler [I was doing a UFC Career in the UFC Game with a guy and converted the guy to WWE]) beat Fandango, then kissed Summer Rae after the match. Fandango, angered, attacked Mack. At Extreme Rules, they'll face off, and Summer Rae will choose if she wants to stay with Fandango or leave.

My other CAW, Colin Mack (brother of Conrad) just put on a hack of a match with Titus O'Neil. Titus would not stay down for the 3! He kept kicking out at 2. Titus hit Mack with a Clash of the Titus on the outside. Eventually, Mack made O'Neil submit to the Anaconda Vice.

I'm doing tournaments to crown the champions.

                        For the NXT Championship:

                        Bray Wyatt vs. CM Punk
Not surprisingly, this was a great match. A GTS couldn't put Wyatt away, and Punk was finished when Bray threw his large body at Punk, sort of like a whole body clothesline.

                        Daniel Bryan vs Damien Sandow
This one was far less competitive, and Bryan won with the Knee Plus.

                        Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler

This was another great match. Ziggler escaped the Regal Stretch, but was soon put away with the Headlock Driver.

                        Triple H vs. Jack Swagger
                        Triple H dominates in win.

                        Round 2-
                        Bray Wyatt vs. Daniel Bryan
This match was awesome. Wyatt dominated, but Bryan came back. Bryan DDT'ed Bray through the announce table. Bryan, unlike Punk, kicked out of the whole body clothesline. However, Sister Abigail put Bryan away after Luke Harper interfered.

                        Triple H vs. Dean Ambrose
Another great match. Ambrose hit a Knee Trembler, but the Ascension came to the ring. The ref had been knocked down, so the Ascension attacked Ambrose. Triple H, laughing, picked up the defenseless Ambrose, and dropped him with a Pedigree. Triple H wins.

Final: Bray Wyatt vs Triple H

This was a slug fest. Triple H threw his body into Bray's whole body clothesline, putting both men down. At this point, the Shield came to the ring. Dean Ambrose wanted revenge for Triple H buying his way to beating him, basically. All three Shield members stood on the apron. Triple H was distracted, and Wyatt hit the Sister Abigail to be the first NXT Champion (in this Universe mode.)
I haven't started the other tournament yet.

Romain Reigns won the NXT Television Championship by lastly defeating Cesaro.

                            WRESTLEMANIA 30!

                            DAY 3

                            def.

This match was built on respect from the rookie Zayn for the Canadian legend Jericho. Sami idolized Y2J's ability growing up in Quebec. Like Jericho, he worked his way to the majors by wrestling all over the world. He offered up the first challenge as part of the Dream Match initiative introduced by COO Triple H. Zayn dazzled early with a Samoan driver and a rope-assisted hurricanrana. When they took it to the outside, Jericho locked in the Walls. The young nXt star broke out of it and tossed Jericho back in, vaulting over the ropes for a springboard splash. He threw him into the corner for a tornado DDT, which resulted in a 2 count. Zayn furthered the beating with a blue thunder bomb. Jericho picked up a nearfall with a step-up enziguri. "The Man of 1,004 Holds" might have broke Zayn's face with a Codebreaker, but did not get a 3 count. He resorted to a Liontamer next, heavily arching Sami's back and legs. Zayn averted a tap out, firing up with a back drop on the apron and a tiger bomb on the ground. White-hot, Zayn made a typical rookie mistake, trying to do too much. He sent Jericho back in and missed a second splash attempt. Jericho dealt a second Codebreaker, sealing the victory. Sami Zayn may not have beaten the Best in the World at What He Does, but with how close he came as the underdog, he definitely cemented himself as a potential star.

                            NWA World Heavyweight Championship
                            def.

Bret Hart (c) def. Alberto Del Rio

The first WWE championship match on the card. Submissions elevated them to World championship gold. For Del Rio, the cross armbreaker. For Hart, the vaunted Sharpshooter. They are both excellent executors, submission specialists, and the NWA World title is on the line. Del Rio hopes to take the title from the legends and bring it back to the current generation. He was aggressive in that objective, coming right after Bret with a German suplex. ADR was relentless with his offense, spinning Hart with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker after two clotheslines. He finished the string with a cross armbreaker, but could not force Hart to tap. The Hitman regained his strength, piledriving Del Rio. He floored Alberto with a dropkick, neckbreaker, and belly-to-belly suplex. Bret DDTed the Mexican Aristocrat, who then went sky-high for a moonsault. Del Rio looked to be ahead, but the champion would not be impeded. Another piledriver was the final move as the Best There Is, the Best There Was, and the Best There Ever Will Be retains his NWA World title.

                            def.

AJ Styles, the most recent World Champion, is all about being phenomenal. Randy Savage has flair, pomp, and circumstance. These guys brim with charisma and in-ring talent, giving the fans a show night in and night out. This match is simply between two of the best workers and champions of their time. Savage was laid out with AJ's signature pele at 5:23. He reversed a Styles Clash into a DDT. A suplex rolled over into a pin accounted for a 2, so Macho King went for a piledriver. His next course of action was a classic scoop slam and a Macho Man elbow. Styles kicked out before 3 and lasted another 9+ minutes until being put away with a second piledriver and diving elbow at 19:36.

                            def.

Damien Sandow stated on Smackdown that only Ric Flair, the Dirtiest Player in the Game, shared his intelligence. The master technician took a liking to Sandow's old-school style, so he was up for his challenge. For Sandow to surmount the legend, he would have to pull out every trick in the book. Damien did the first impact move with his signature Russian leg sweep at 5:52. That stemmed into a Terminus 14 seconds later. Naitch unleashed the Figure Four at 9:08 after working the leg earlier, but could not make the Savior submit. A full-nelson slam at 17:35 confirmed the win for the Duke of Decency.

                            WWE Tag Team Championship
                            def.

The Motor City Machineguns def. The New Age Outlaws (c)

The pride of Detroit earned #1 contendership to the Outlaws by beating the Rhodes brothers, before retaining against the Usos. The former DX members beat the very same Rhodes for the tag titles at No Way Out. Shelley drew first blood with a fisherman DDT on Road Dogg. The "Real Double J" did a little jig and a shake, rattle, and roll. On the outside, Sabin dropped Gunn through the announce table with a DDT. D-O-double G destroyed Shelley with a piledriver while the A** Man laid out the 7-time X-Division champion with a Gunnslinger. The Guns from Murder City proceeded with a simultaneous Hail Sabin and Shiranui. Somehow, NAO survived that outburst. They hit the Fameasser and pumphandle slam, plus a Jackhammer from Billy. Sabin and Shelley fired back as the former kicked Road Dogg in the head and the latter tapped out Gunn with a Rings of Saturn, winning the WWE Tag Team Championship.

                            def.

After losing in the Tag Turmoil Lightning Round and the overall failure to succeed as a tag team, Jack Swagger and manager Zeb Colter discreetly kicked Antonio Cesaro out of the Real Americans. With his mind off tag team gold, Swagger set his sights on proving he was the supreme athlete of the WWE. And with that in mind, his dream opponent would be 1996 US Olympic hero and Gold Medalist Kurt Angle. Between them is many amateur wrestling accolades and a few World Heavyweight Championship reigns. Critics said the All-American American stole the Ankle Lock submission from Angle, but regardless, it cannot be denied they are gifted technically. The Real American representative showed that initially with northern lights, gutwrench, and German suplexes. With force, he hopped off the turnbuckle for a Swagger Bomb, shades of Vader. Angle was completely off his game, taking a gutwrench bomb. He had enough energy to kick out at two. The Oklahoma defensive lineman attacked the ankles of Kurt with a football tackle. The former TNA and IWGP champ at last broke through with an Angle Slam on the outside. Angle placed Swagger on the top rope for a spider suplex, but not with a bridge. Swagger answered with an Oklahoma Stampede but was latched into a triad of Germans by the Suplex Machine. Angle was firing on all cylinders, continuing with a belly-to-belly and a double leg takedown. To decisively end it at the near 30-minute mark, Angle gave Swagger a taste of his own medicine with a gutwrench powerbomb.

                            def.

In a call-back to C.M. Punk and Chris Jericho at WM 28, Austin Aries simply wants to have the best match on the card to make a name for himself. The Showstopper Shawn Michaels is exactly the man to accomplish that with. There's no telling how active HBK will be during the regular season of WWE but he always electrifies at Wrestlemania. Aries got in his first brainbuster at 5:27 but Michaels fired back with a Sweet Chin Music at 8:25. He went for a second about 6 minutes later but Aries niftily reversed into a hip toss and another skull-crushing brainbuster. Shawn ignited with his series of flying forearms but took a Death Valley Driver for his efforts. The two traded a Sharpshooter and Last Chancery. Eventually, around the 27-minute mark, a super kick and a third brainbuster elevated Aries to the upset win over Mr. Wrestlemania. The Heartbreak Kid has left the building, for now..

Well, my all-CAW universe that my brother and I spent 5-6 months after getting the game just creating our guys, going all out on attires, burning a new EWWF The Music Volume 5 CD to put new entrance themes on several of our new guys, tweaking movesets, busting our butts in Paint Tool to make the best logos we've ever made for our EWWF shows, wrestlers, PPV's, and development league is pretty much toast.

The game freezes on just about any edit to the match card in Universe we make. We've really tried to be happy with the match cards it churns out on its own, and we often times won't change a single match on our TV shows but when it comes time for PPVs we want to make sure the right guys are getting their title shots (because that #1 Contender thing doesn't always work out right) and the right feuds carry on. The game was freezing rarely (but manageable) the first couple of PPVs, but ever since we've added on our last 4-5 wrestlers and logos, it freezes at the slightest thing. I've even used a friend's disk and it does the same thing. The game must absolutely hate the fact we have 82 wrestlers with our own Paint Tool logos and NONE of the pre-loaded WWE content in Universe.

Makes me wonder why they even bothered beefing up the CAW count to 100 if this stuff was going to happen. If they don't fix this bullcrap in the first next-gen version of this series, then they can take it and bury it in a landfill for all I care.

                                Spoiler

                                Results....

Match 1: These four ladies squared off last week in singles matches with Stacey Kiebler picking up the win in the first match and Natalya getting the win in the second match. Tonight the two teams look to get the win and get payback from last week plus make the climb up the Diva Tag Team division. The Queens want the #1 contender-ship back so they can try and get their titles back but The Nice Girls want to try and get their hands on the belts for the first time.
The two teams battled in a very physical match and it was really dominated by The Queens but after Stacey countered a Nattie by Nature into a roll up pin that was it and The Nice Girls stole the win and moved up the tag division as a result.

Match 2: AJ was shocked last week by the new challenger for her title as Layla pulled out the win in their submission match. Tonight she wants to redeem herself against the former Women's Champ but AJ knows that everyone is gunning for her title.
AJ was dominant throughout the match and as a result she was able to pick up the win by pinfall after a Shining Wizard. After she grabbed a mic and said “Layla this is MY title and not you or any other Diva back there are going to take it away from me”!

Match 3: After hearing what AJ just said moments ago Layla gets her mind right to take on Kaitlyn who was one of her opponents for the #1 contender-ship so these two have history. Layla knows she has to win this match to keep her momentum going to match AJ stride for stride. She knows she can beat her opponent here tonight because she's done it before. AJ decided that after her win she was going to stay by ringside and watch the match just to possibly gloat some more to Layla.
Layla came focused and took everything Kaitlyn threw at her but after Layla hit a running bulldog on her that was it as she got the win by pinfall. After the match Layla blew a kiss at AJ before exiting the ring and AJ just sat there with this look of disgust on her face.

Match 4: Last week Paige and Brie put on a great singles match with their tag partners at ringside watching. This week the roles get reversed so both Paige and Brie will be watching as their tag partners Aaliyah and Nikki look to pick up the win in what has become a fierce rivalry for The Misfits' tag titles.
As Aaliyah and Nikki were battling inside the ring Paige and Brie who were clearly still steaming from last week's match got into it on the outside and the ref ejected them both. Nikki took this chance to go on the offensive and got some good moves in but Aaliyah got in a neckbreaker and looked to end the match but it was kicked out of at 2. Aaliyah then went for a facebuster but it was reversed into a facebuster by Nikki and that was it as the ref counted to 3 and Nikki Bella picked up the win. Nikki picked up Aaliyah's belt, looked down at her and said “the other one is going to be my sister's soon”.

Main Event: Last week Ashley started her path back to greatness as she called it by defeating Candice with the Women's Champ Chyna watching at ringside. These two ladies have put on amazing submission matches before and they look to go at it again tonight.
Ashley was taunting Chyna all the way down the ramp and finally Chyna decided to just go attack her outside the ring and let a flurry of fists fly on Ashley's head. After that attack Chyna was on fire to start the match she landed a series of power moves and even hit her Brain Buster on Ashley. The momentum didn't stay on her side for long though as Ashley hit her Monkey Flip and tried to gain some of the crowd and momentum back on her side, the girl is tough. Chyna went for the first submission of the match which was an abdominal stretch but could not get Ashley to tap out. Ashley then got some momentum back when she hit a Spear out of nowhere and then locked on a rear naked choke and made Chyna tap out to pick up the win. Once again these ladies put on a great submission match to close out the show and this rivalry is turning into a war.
