Re: WWE 2K14 Attributes Thread
I changed the A.I. Reversals from 10 to 5 except the finisher rate and foreign object rate. Left them at 10. Under damage I maxed both those out. Under general I lowered all to 5 except finisher and Foreign object reversal. Left those at 10 but I believe those are for when you actual play in a match.
I just watched Andre take santino apart in about 6 min beating him with Andres elbow drop into a pin. Santino didn't have a whole lot of offense in this one. So far so good.
If you try them let me know, feedback is appreciated.Comment

Re: WWE 2K14 Attributes Thread
Testing them out now with Zach Ryder (modified) against Andre (default). I'll definitely have to check the sliders and also thinking about applying the same formula to the DEF attributes, at least for the "Jobbers". Oh yea...what difficulty level do you have this on? ANd do you have Reversal Damage on as well? I think last year that was an issue.Comment

Re: WWE 2K14 Attributes Thread
Here are my thoughts so far:
I'm using the unchanged, default Cena vs your changes for Zach Ryder. Zach Ryder is dominating the match and even cut Cena open. He had a ton of reversals as well, which I might apply this logic to Ryders DEF attributes as well.
I'm also thinking that this "drastic" of a change, should be used for the "jobbers". The mid-carders, maybe drop by 20 or so only.
Have you noticed anything with the SPD attribute? I'm trying to figure out what exactly this does. I put a wrestler at 1 and didn't notice any difference.
Also, might want to lower Recovery for the jobbers as well...this will keep it more "realistic".Comment

I haven't applied the changes it the defense yet because I wanted longer matches. So far I am seeing what I want. I do have reversal damage ON and last year I had it OFF. Have not tried it off yet.Comment

Re: WWE 2K14 Attributes Thread
The only problem is the in-game manual is still pretty vague. It says the SPD attribute affects the wrestlers movement. The ONLY thing I've noticed when testing a 75 SPD vs a 1 SPD wrestler, is the walking speed. The 75 walks slightly faster and that's it. I think the attributes work better this year, but there still isn't that separation that we need.Comment

Re: WWE 2K14 Attributes Thread
The speed attribute by definition determines how fast the movement of a wrestler is. I believe it slows down how fast they are able to pull off moves. Example would be a faster wrestler would be able to get into a grapple a lot faster than a slower one if they were to try lock up at the same time. Don't know if that is 100% correct but that's what I am thinking.

Test the SPD out...not sure how, but when I did it, I tested how fast the wrestlers could run from one end to the other. All attributes the same except speed. I didn't notice any difference in running, but walking there was a slight difference.
As far as SPD affecting movement, I'm still waiting to see that difference.
I might also try and lower all AI and General Sliders to 1 (CPU vs CPU) and see if the wrestlers attributes play more a role.Comment

Re: WWE 2K14 Attributes Thread
I did a pretty similar overhaul last year but I haven't gone into it yet this time. I'll give your system a try in a couple of weeks (going on vacation). Hopefully, when I get back, you'll have gotten some good feedback and have dialing things in even better."It's all in the reflexes." - Jack BurtonComment
