I'm going to do a pre show for Survivor Series which will recap everything that has been going on. I'm excited to get this thing rolling.

Smart decision in my opinion. It looks good so far.

Week 1 SMACKdown is up. Huge action as well as Extreme Rules Main Event is announced.

You will see very quickly that SD is NOT a B-Show in my Universe.

Time to finish the last week before Survivor Series. I'm going to try and get that done so I can get the Pre-Show posted tonight. Unfortunately I have work at 7:00 AM so it might not get done until tomorrow.

Lesnar is the champ in my universe. He got put in a rivalry with Cena automatically. They went back and forth on Raw's leading up to Extreme Rules. Some really cool moments.

I ended up having the most insane match I've ever had in any WWE game playing as Brock against Cena in a falls count anywhere match on Raw. Back and forth and back and forth. Near fall after near fall. Both guys almost totally drained. I ended up giving Cena an F5 through the announce table (OMG moment) and he STILL kicked out!!!

Anyways, Cena ended up beating me. Next Raw was a rematch and Lesnar attacked Cena before the match and I won. Then the next week was the PPV and was another really fun match and Cena won.

I'm thinking about running one show per year. Sort of like being the GM. Playing both shows, is a lot of matches.

Glad you had fun, but the whole time I'm reading this all I can think of is... why are they facing each other on three straight Raws leading up to the PPV? Really, they need to fix this crap.

Yea I thought that was weird and I was just letting the universe do what it wanted. I haven't changed matches at all yet. I wanted to see what it would come up with, but I'm not impressed.

It doesn't seem to be creating any other feuds except for Cena vs Lesnar and they had all these Raw matches like you said.

Ryback has a different entrance than his "feed me more" entrance I get when I do quick play.

There's no vibration from pyro during entrances in universe mode, and my biggest complaint is every Raw is filled with singles matches between members of tag teams. I do not want to play as an Uso in a singles match!!!

And speaking of teams, the universe had the Wyatts break up, but then I find they're not really broken up. I have Evolution as a team and they never broke up, yet they keep getting put in matches against each other. So annoying!

Does anyone know if I start making my own cards, will the universe begin to create feuds off of those matches?

Do you guys try turning off rivalries, and only do a few manaual rivalries or none at all, I started one last night to play around, and just had no rivalries. I went to watch a random match between Cena and I think Rollins, Kane came out as manager and then Brock came out to watch. Nothing else really happened, but was wondering if it's possible to get cutscenes this way, this could maybe eliminate the problem of having guys fight multiple weeks leading to the ppv, and let rankings determine things a bit more???

Yes you can get cut scenes with rivalries turned off. I don't use the rivalry manager and get a decent amount. But I do edit who a wrestler's rivals and allies are based on the cut scenes I get, and matches I book.

When I started my universe I deleted all rivalries and allies (except for tag teams I planned on keeping) and I've been letting rivalries happen almost at random through cut scenes and booking.

My universe currently has a crazy feud between Bryan and Orton with many Cut scenes that also involve Chris Jericho and John Cena (Who's my champ). The rivalry all started when Bryan walked out on Cena during the main event on Raw when they were tag team partners. That lead to a triple threat match between Bryan Orton and Cena at Extreme Rules.

After Extreme Rules Jericho somehow got involved And Orton has attacked all 3 pre or post match in the month of May. At this point I book matches and wait for Orton to attack one of them. But my last Raw ended with Bryan attacking Orton after the main event (Kane & Orton vs Jericho & Cena) after Orton ended the prior Smackdown attacking Bryan with a chair after their match. I just let the CPU play out everything.

This is what I love about having rivalries off. There's no rivalry option to have something like this happen in Universe mode. This is exactly how I like to run my Universe.

First time owner of a WWE game, but been a wrestling fan since the Jimmy Snooka era. Been playing Mycareer for awhile and want to jump into the universe.

As a newb at this, any tips or suggestions for setting it up and/or running it? Glanced at a couple of the screens and wasn't quite sure where to start. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks much.

Anyone got any tips or best practice type ideas?

I just had a thought. Does anyone know if you take a tag team member like Jey Uso and remove him from contending for singles belts if that will prevent him from getting put into singles matches all the time?

I don't know for sure but I'm fairly confident that it would. I do that in my universe and the only time someone like Jey Uso would show up is if it was part of a rivalry involving the Usos.
