However, since the World Heavyweight belt is shared between the 2 shows, he was able to face up again Sid.

He used his MITB for the WWE title.

I doubt he'd be able to use the MITB for the WCW title.

Ahh I see yeah, that's ace. I might have to stick a MITB PPV into my universe if the cashing-in in Universe mode is a lot better now!

That's sweet with the MITB/Brock Lesnar story. I played WWE 2K15, but I am really loving 2K16 from what little I've gotten to play. So many options. It took a LONG time to create my custom superstar and then go through and build a completely customized move set. It took a lot longer than I ever remember it taking in 15.

It also took a long time to set up my Universe 100% exactly how I wanted it. So many wrestlers to situate both via show and title opportunities.

Looking forward to really digging into Universe and getting matches rolling tonight after work.

I simmed 2yrs of universe and ALL my stables stayed the exact same. No one turned heel/face. No one left their stables. Didn't see any stables being booked. Anybody seen diffefent? I even teamed Big Show with Ziggler & Show being Treacherous still didn't turn on Dolph

I finally reached Extreme Rules, the first PPV! So many titles being defended. Had to record it in parts!

I removed a lot of the veterans from my Universe (Big Show, Jericho, Kane), as well as a lot of the lower card guys (Santino etc.) and then moved a lot of the NXT guys to double up on RAW. I even removed Lesnar as it irritates me the way the AI books him.

Suddenly the AI is booking many more matches that seem to stand out as believable. It's annoying as I don't want to have to remove some of the veterans but it just seems to work a whole lot better.

The way i'm going to do it is drop one or two of the veterans in and out of the roster every now and again.

My personal setup.
Delete Superstars. Create a legends show on Saturday Night.
Put NXT on Wednesdays and only at Orlando, FL in location. Create a midcard title.
Download a **** ton of indie darlings and make two indie shows on Tuesday (for international stars) and Friday (for American talents). One world title between the two, then each having a separate singles title.
Every six months:
1. Move all indie singles number one contenders up to NXT.
2. Move ALL number one contenders (SINGLES AND TAG) from NXT to main roster.
3. Take last place of the midcard main roster singles titles and place them in NXT.
Every three months:
1. Take note of last place WORLD contenders on the main roster...
2. If they have not moved up from bottom five by the following three months, move them to the Indies.
Once a year:
1. Retire a long-standing member of the roster, and move then to the legends roster. My advice: Sting, Undertaker, Big Show, Kane, Bellas, Jericho, Cena, Orton, Lesnar, The Rock...
If at any point someone is in last place on more than one listing on the main roster at the six month check, immediately release them to the Indies.
Whenever someone is released to the Indies, place them in the top ten of the Indies roster, due to their popularity of being in the big companies. This gives them a better shot of coming back to the big time.
Have a good imagination and run stories in EVERY company. This will take a lot of planning via Excel spreadsheet, but it's worth it.

I'm still very early in universe mode (like, week one) but I've noticed the cpu is booking guys multiple times a night. Guys will have a tag match and a singles match, or a three way and a singles match. Kind of annoying considering the size of my rosters - sure would like to see more guys involved. Does it get better or do I have to limit even more what belt guys are going for and make most tag guys exclusively tag guys?

And while we're sharing our set-ups I have:

Whole universe is WWE owned network. I'm going to work some "Invasion" stuff into the Night of Champions ppv's. Each roster has 26 to 29 guys. May thin roster depending upon cpu booking. I've kept most guys at their default rating, but the older guys (including my CAW downloads) I've weakened somewhat so the young guys can establish themselves. I use the special abilities to keep the older guys competitive - kinda reflects their veteran saavy so they can make make up for their diminishing physical talents. But I do want the current guys to have a chance to shine. In my previous universes it too often leaned too heavily to the legends types.

Mon - WWE Raw (some current but many attitude era guys) - WWE World/IC/World Tag
Tues - WCW Nitro (attitude era wcw guys) - WCW World (big gold)/TV/World Tag
Wed- NXT (current NXT with a few young guy additions - mostly to bolster tag division)
Thurs - WWE Smackdown (mostly current WWE along with Punk) - WWE Heavy/US/WWE Tag
Fri - ECW Hardcore (classic ECW roster with a few additions that fit theme)
Sat - TNA Impact (TNA current and recent past guys)

Last Sunday of month is Raw and Smackdown default ppv, third Sunday is WCW ppv, and second Sunday is rotation of NXT, ECE, TNA so each of those shows has four ppv's a year.

Been pretty busy setting up caw's and arenas and entrances and schedules but I'm pretty close to letting it roll to see how it plays out.

These are great ideas.

A few questions – What CAW’s are best to download to add to these shows? I am just now getting back into wrestling so some of the newer guys don’t ring a bell, but I would love to add more to my roster.

Also how do you guys determine who holds the belt in each Fed when you first start off? I guess I could run a small tournament outside of Universe mode if I wanted to.

Also how do you guys determine Allies and Rivals?

This is the first wrestling game I’ve played in years, so Universe mode is completely new for me.

I will have Smackdown and my new Saturday Show up tomorrow. Smackdown is almost typed up I just had a big thing I had to add to start setting up another feud.



I also wanted to say that unless I go with a full on roster split at no time do I plan on having multiple versions of the same guy in my Universe at the same time. That would just be weird interactions and I dont think I want to go there with it (Even though I really want SCSA and the Hollywood Blondes in my Universe, unless I make sure they never interact I doubt its ever going to happen.)
