I dont know , I mean to me usually the games with the graphics that are good but not the best are the most fun. I mean look at WWE games. Graphics amazing game terrible. Same with Madden, NHL.

Then you see games like super mega baseball people love it. fire pro wrestling people love it.

All very iffy on the graphics. For me gameplay over graphics anyday. If I had kept my old systems I would be playing so many older sports games.

Oh I was not really saying anything about the graphics besides I think it literally looks like a battlegrounds game vs a simulation game. I think the gameplay looks just as bad personally. The nostalgia of the old games is there, but honestly, it was fun back then, not so much now, at least to me.

Graphics for sure aren't the be all. Fire Pro Wrestling is proof of that. If this game can have decent mechanics and competitiveness vs CPU and player, it'll be fun for what it is. The last few WWE 2K games I have played have had the graphics down, but matches always played out the same, and the CPU was never really a challenge on the highest level.

I saw one comment..."It's No Mercy set on Turbo 3 with better graphics. I'm VERY interested."

I'm sure part of that is intentional to call back to the N64 games. How much exactly, I don't know.

The more videos that come out the more I think it looks...alright. I like a lot of the individual animations, but something looks off in the way it all comes together. Definitely doesn't look like a day one or even a full price purchase, but still decent enough to grab at some point.

Seeing Big Show, sorry Paul Wight, do speedy dropkicks or cruiserweight rolls kind of kills wrestling games a bit for me. Even though it's meant to be arcadeish things like that is what always disturbed me about SVR, when there were default counters that could not be changed. If you can change those dropkicks that is one thing, but my feeling is that those could be unchangeable moves... Make giants act like giants and high flyers like highflyers so that every character stands out more.
On No Mercy stuff like that wasn't as much of an issue actually, where a back suplex would normally be reversed with an unspectacular elbow or stuff like that.

              But we'll see. It's a game.

Y'all see No Mercy while I see WWE All-Stars (which I had fun with [emoji2377]).

Man, I don’t see All-Stars at all. But after rewatching some other videos I think it reminds me more of the WWE GameCube games than N64 era.

My thing is, if it's going to be an arcade/action style game, it looks a tad bit boring for that. If there's going to be more of a strategy element to it (a la Fire Pro), it looks too simplistic for that. I don't think featuring the AEW product in a video game by itself is enough to justify a game existing. Or at least it doesn't justify me buying it.

I see them adding alot of DLC content to feature more Promotions. Definitely see NJPW & Ring of Honor DLCs and possibly other Organizations as well

I am looking for the CPU vs CPU experience to not be a Repetitive cycle as most Wrestling games have been. I am hoping the CPU AI adapts to the Opponents, bigger Opponent, target the legs, etc.

There was some match footage shown today on a few channels on YouTube.

It looks okay. Some of the moves just look weird. Like it's skipping frames. It looks like it's running at 30fps and goes down from there on certain moves.

I will probably get it because I'm a wrestling nerd, but hoping they get it a little more optimized. Right now, the gameplay is looking a little rough.

I kinda see the N64 vibe, but people seem to be going way overboard with it thinking they are getting exactly that, and I think a lot of people might be disappointed. We'll see I guess.

I am hoping you are right about the DLC but not optomistic. 50 wrestlers to start is very weak size roster. Also they have FTR ready for game pulled them and said MAYBE they will be in a DLC. if they can only maybe add FTR and they are already setup for the game but money wise did not want to put them in yet I doubt they will inviest in NJPW and Ring of Honor even though it would be huge. I can not stand WWE games anymore and was hoping this would be a huge title but I worry it might be just a one year and done if money is already an issue
