    Does the ally slot affect gameplay? Or if they are tag teams they still will interfere occasionally?

      2K dropped the ball by not providing us with the following tendencies.

      Regular Pin
      Leverage Pin
      Taunt

      Unfortunately, there is no way for us to control that.

          Very excited about the modern and retro NJPW edits, loved what I saw in those matches

          Can't wait to see Stardom edits down the line as well, especially with the fantastic CAWs this year.

            There are some tendencies that I believe that are in the game but hidden/locked by 2K. It's no coincidence that some wrestlers do these more than others;

            Regular Pin
            Leverage Pin
            After Signature Pin
            Fight Ringside
            Taunt opponent
            Taunt crowd
            Irish whip
            Hammer throw
            Drag opponent
            Carry opponent
            Use Reversals

                  I tested Cody and seth. Ran 3 matches. Cody won all 3. Super accurate. Ladder matches and TLC matches are a toss up tho. Every match I tested there was just abysmal. However, I don’t believe that’s DCs fault. The A.I never knew how to put on a good ladder match.

                  Overall I thing the attribute edits are really good. Gonna test a big vs a small best. Maybe I’ll edit Omos and see how he does against a small main event star.

                    Won't be necessary. We've adjusted their AI to replicate their style. Sliders will stay the same for the most part.

                    No way man. If we had access to these we could do so much more. But we can work with that 2k gives us.

                    The problem with gimmick matches in video games is the AI is trying to just win the match instead of putting on a show. The same thing goes for cage and tables matches too,

                        Random question but given the amount of experience you have in AI vs. AI over the years, how does 2K23 hold up against say Yukes' last game, 2k19?

                        Do you think the introduction of the tendencies has allowed you to overcome some shortcomings that might be baked into the game compared to 2K19?

                          I cant speak for everyone, but I would say AI vs AI is much better in wwe2k23 than any Yukes game. Sure there is a lot you cant edit in tendencies but its better than zero options in the Yukes games. It does take awhile to test and see what is the best options/sliders/stats for your own matches/universe. But no matter what you edit its going to take time to get it how you like it.


                          I really wish there was a tool to edit superstar stats outside the game, or a in game global edit you can change, for example add/reduce all grapple power by a % for all wrestlers in the game. you can burn away hours and hours of just editing stats of wrestlers and more if you're actively testing things.

                            If possible, how would I apply these attribute to my custom character? I don't want to make him imbalanced compared to the rest of the roster

                              In my opinion, this is 2k's first step in the right direction is 2k19. The addition of tendencies has allowed us to manipulate some things, but they have a long way to go before they can call this a true sim.
