They seem to have a very tough and powerful lineup with Pujols-Duncan as the 3-4 hitters and Glaus sitting 6th.

It certainly was a tough first start for Bailey but he's still a young kid. He's going to take his lumps while he gains experience and improves under my pitching coach. He's still going to get the ball every 5th day. We'll just have to see how he develops.

I had two reasons for it:

1) It helped Toronto because 3/5 (Halliday, Chacin, Marcum) of their MLB starting rotation was injured and their top starter in Syracuse was also injured

2) It got rid of a $12m/yr salary for a player that was going to cost me about $450k to $550k per year.

i think it was pretty good...i cant believe how the jays were able to give lind away so easily though

probably because lind's ovr meter wasn't that long and arroyo's was very long. i took a look at the jays' roster and arroyo now sits 2nd or 3rd on the sp list. arroyo's ovr rating on the scouting report is "a" and lind's is "c". the jays' team overview was at normal so the ai was looking for even trades. if it wasn't even then i would have gotten a negative response from the ai.

i am expecting lind to be starting in left by the end of july. (hint as to things to come in the upcoming weeks before trade deadline)
