Well, I'm not posting picture summaries for the next 3-4 games due to my absence. I WILL post a picture of the in-game box score though.

It was a good start for us as Middlebrooks would hit a BOMB to right. But that would prove all for not as the Tribe would post a three-run 2nd and not turn back. It looked as if we had a rally going in the 9th but no sir. Final... 5-8

Red Sox Sweep Rays in Crucial Series

The Red Sox were able to halt the oh-so suckish Rays to a 3 game sweep at Main St. Field. Cy Young candidate Danny Hudson,and rookies Jake Odorizzi and Matt Barnes were all able to get in the W column this week. This puts the BoSox in a 7 game lead over the Blue Jays. Don't forget to mention they have the best record in baseball!!! Up next is a 4 game stint with the Mariners. It will be highlighted by a game 3 matchup between Cy Young candidate Daniel Hudson and former Cy Young winner and class of 2014 Free Agent, King Felix Hernandez (treat).

Pedro Alverez, Chase D Arnaud Placed and Claimed on Trade Waivers

-Pedro Alverez and Chase D Arnaud were both placed on trade waivers. This comes almost a week after Jon Lester was placed on and cleared the waiver. He was claimed by the Pirates but the Pirates missed their exclusive deadline making him free for anyone to trade

-There is a source that says they were claimed by Boston. A trade might look like Alverez, D Arnaud PTBNL for Lester

-Expect a trade by the August 16th deadline.
