Because it isn't a "prospects list" it's a watch list and Norris pitched like crap in ST for me and he isn't doing much IRL either

Mainly Negrych, he's great and all but I ran some calculations on him and the results aren't really that pretty. About a .250 OBP in the majors. Still higher than Arencibia's...

                  Wasn't Negrych your guy? lol

Actually I am curious to see what he could do up here, I am guessing lefties in the big leagues would eat him alive in real life.

McCoy actually won the backup spot on my roster in Spring Training. I am the furthest thing from a Mike McCoy fan, but had to take him.

I put my franchise on hold temporarily as I am going away this week and also just need a break from the game I think. Been having some issues uploading videos to Youtube which put me off also

Ok, here is the deal - I have fallen off the face of the earth with this thing, got busy working on rosters, sound packs and too many other things in life to mention.

But I'm back and starting fresh - or somewhat

I was debating about starting a new thread or continuing on with this one, and I decided to continue this one - although I am re-starting my Franchise with the latest release of the Hybrid 2.0 Roster

Watch for this to start up again sometime this week - looking forward to bring the same type of Franchise I delivered last year.

                    Thanks for your patience everyone.

                      It's Finally On!

Alex Anthopoulos woke up suddenly to the crying of his newborn child. He looked at his watch - the date read March 1st. Alex thought to himself "wait a minute, was Spring Training all a dream - is Jose Reyes not injured?" He shook his head and looked at his watch again, same date, same time - it was just a dream - a result of what was one of the worst seasons in Blue Jays history when it came to injuries. Now he can just focus on making this team that he built over the winter even stronger, and watch them achieve what everyone hopes - a relevant Blue Jays team in September and October.

                      March 25th

It has been a so, so Spring Training, the Blue Jays are at .500 so far this month and about to embark on the last week on the Spring, the grind as most players call it. Many players have shown themselves to be important role players for the upcoming season, many regulars have been unimpressive.

Alex walked onto the field to watch infield practice as coach Luis Rivera batted balls at his infielders, one to 3B Brett Lawrie's left forcing Lawrie to dive for the ball. Lawrie snagged the ball as usual and didn't come up, rolling to his butt and sitting up holding his right side. Trainer George Poulis came out of the dugout and helped Brett off the field, Alex followed them into the dugout where Poulis said it appeared he had strained or hurt his oblique muscle. An MRI would show later that afternoon that Lawrie had indeed strained his oblique and would be out for bare minimum 20 days, would not be able to even do baseball activities for the next 10 days.

Alex could not believe this had happened, his starting 3B is out for Opening Day and several pitchers are still injured from 2012. Decisions are going to have to be made.

TORONTO BLUE JAYS SWING DEAL WITH WHITE SOX

March 29th - Toronto Blue Jays GM Alex Anthopoulos snuck another one by the media today and announced a deal made with the Chicago White Sox. The Blue Jays acquired INF Tyler Greene, OF Casper Wells and former Blue Jay prospect P Zach Stewart in exchange for P Jeremy Jeffress, OF Rajai Davis, P Joel Carreno and a player to be named later. Anthopoulos said the deal was a way to give the team some depth and also allows Davis to move to Chicago after being designated for assignment yesterday to make room for non-roster invitee Andy Laroche who will be on the Opening Day Roster in place of injured Brett Lawrie.

Interesting trade here Willard! I like the move to acquire Casper Wells for Davis. Wells can do essentially the same thing Davis can do (hit LHP well), he just cannot run as well as Rajai, Wells might play better defense though. Tyler Greene provides some much needed depth at the middle infield position which was an obvious position of need at the start of the season this year. It looks like maybe an overpay though to me as you gave away both Carreno and Jeffress, I might be biased because I'm a huge fan of Carreno but he's a nice depth arm to have, meanwhile Jeffress is also an arm that is nice to have if he is able to figure things out!

Great opening, wow. Awesome read. Nice trade. Love the Wells acquisition.

Hoping we kick some White Sox *** atm though haha.

The fact that Stewart was a B was what made me give up more - I know he hasn't proved much yet, but still hope for him. I was ticked the Jays gave up on Wells and now LaRoche - Real AA leaves me very puzzled some days. I'm also a big Tyler Greene fan - guy has some good raw power and decent defense. Opening Day is coming soon for my Franchise
