I think it depends on what team you wind up going with. If its a low tier team without a ton of big name guys, you're probably fine just dumping them into free agency. It shouldn't upset the balance of the league too much. I don't know how much you plan to use the farm system, but you could swap them down into the minors and then release the minor leaguers you called up.

Otherwise just exporting them out of the game is fine. I don't think it shatters anyone's dreams if the Astros/Marlins just sort of cease to exist.


Clerical note: You have Aaron Braund listed as the speed threat. I'm assuming its just a typo, but he should be up one slot on DH. I don't think 6'2, 260 is going to be a speed threat

Maybe use some AAAA types to fill in the roster until more folks sign up? Especially since it seems to be mostly bench and mid relievers that are unfilled so far?

If you can't create players for a franchise in progress - you could always edit the fill-ins (assuming you can edit players)?

I don't know - maybe he's a linebacker turned slugger Those LB's run pretty quick, especially if he was NFL caliber.
