After game 3, manager John Gibbons announced that the team is benching Daniel Murphy indefinitely after a play at second base.

"That was a horse**** effort out there by Dan. He's got Jose coming off that injury and he takes his lazy-*** time and flips it to second without a care in the God damned world and Jose gets taken out. That's absolutely unacceptable and could have been avoided easily had Dan given half a ****. He'll learn his lesson."

I'm gonna post stats in a bit but sneak preview: Stroman's season was MASSIVE. The 3.39 ERA wasn't a lie. He's been what Sonny Gray has in real life. Actually, no, he's been just like the real Marcus Stroman over a full season. Seriously. If you equalize their innings pitched they've been exactly as valuable. Stats/playoffs coming in a bit.
