      SERIES PREVIEW

      SEATTLE MARINERS(17-20) VS DETROIT TIGERS(10-28)

MARINERS look to turn things around vs rebuilding TIGERS in Detroit...

The Detroit Tigers(10-28) is in the middle of a rebuild. Gone are the days of the Central Division Champions. Gone are the days of Playoffs. The Tigers last playoff appearence was in 2014 where they we're swept in the ALDS by the Baltimore Orioles.

The Tigers spent 2015 and on in the middle of the pack winning no more than 86 games. Detroit officially entered Rebuild Mode last year where the club finished with a 64-98 record.

The Tigers come in dropping 3 of their last 5 as the club struggles to find an identity in 2018. Detroit has an interim Manager after Brad Ausmus was shown the door.

The Mariners(17-20) are coming off a series win in Toronto over the struggling Blue Jays. Seattle hasn't seen playoffs since 2001 and the rebuild continues in 2018 with Lou Piniella in the front office calling all the shots.

Seattle's Scott Servais is on a Contract year and should Seattle fail to make the playoffs for the 17th year in a row could find himself out of a job by winter.

"Slowly getting back to myself. Tonight was a nice step in that direction." Hernandez said.

Rangers left hander Mike Minor lasted 5 innings giving up 8 hits, 5 runs, and just a Strikeout.

The Rangers we're left high and dry thanks to those double bags.
