It was what looked to be a blow out in Florida A&M’s favor early, as they lead 20-4 just 7 minutes into the game. A remarkable comeback occurred, while it was still early, and a 30 point swing during the next 13 minutes allowed North Florida to end the half with a 15 point lead of their own. While the Rattlers did manage a run to bring the lead back within just 3 during the 2nd half, the Ospreys answered with one of their own and closed the door quickly.

Coach Matthews commented after the game,” Well what can I say, we started this game horribly. I had to basically throw my clipboard on the bench and completely think over a new game plan. The plan was obviously to attack the basket like no other. It worked, too. This is why we missed Mr. Grimball those 4 games, he is one of the best players I’ve seen in a long time.”

On the future of the program,” Let’s see, we’re losing both Grimball and Timberlake after this year which is going to hurt us a lot. BUT we had two freshman score 22 points and 17 points respectively, so I wouldn’t get too worried yet.”

“Anthony King was just like Monroe for FAU. Nothing we did against him would work. We’re constantly giving up way too many offensive rebounds, and we need to work on that if we plan on winning any more games this year. Brent Wood might have just earned himself a starting spot, because he’s been playing way better than Hammonds lately. There’s only one more really though game left this year, and only a couple until we start conference play. Once we get to the conference games I think we’ll start winning a lot more.”

The file was put up in June of 08, but the rosters are last years rosters.

I've played every game on coach mode. I don't intend on playing any games, I have a seperate dynasty with UNF that I've played every game so far.

Notre Dame scored 6 unanswered at the end of the first half to cut it to just a 3 point lead. Their momentum continued as the took a quick lead early in the 2nd half. North Florida held close and eventually took the lead due to foul trouble for the Irish big men. With 10 seconds to play Stan Januska hit 2 free throws to make it a 3 point lead for UNF. Notre Dame hurries down the court, and McAlarney shoots a 3 but misses. Harangody got the offensive board and passed right back to McAlarney, who hit the 3 at the buzzer to take it into OT. Notre Dame had the home crowd behind them and won easily in the extra frame.

“I AM PISSED!!! There is NO WAY we should have lost that game. Our team needs to learn how to ****ing rebound the basketball. How IN THE WORLD do we constantly give up 17, that’s right 17 offensive rebounds pretty much every game!?!? Someone get me some medicine, I’m going insane over here. I think that Coach Matthews needs to take a chill pill.

On second thought, maybe Coach Matthews needs to use props (like throwing things during team meetings/practices) like I did with Coach Knight when he was at VMI.

Haha, no joke. Coach Matthews is kind of a cocky, arrogant coach with a short temper. Too bad I'm not a good writer, or he'd be on ESPN for his "tirades" every week.

Thanks for following guys. I would have another game up but I've been having some power issues so I don't want to start a game just to have the power go out on me.
