The Starting Five
SG- Bryan Hernandez- 6'4"- JR- A player who has spent his career coming off the pine, the departure of senior guard Chauncey Bethel has opened up the starting spot for Bryan. Not as pure a shooter as one would like to see from the 2 spot, one can only hope that he uses his slashing ability to create scoring opportunities.
SF- Anthony Hess- 6'6"- FR- The "gem" of St. Francis' recruiting class, freshman Anthony Hess will be depended upon immediately as the teams go-to scorer. A versatile swingman, Hess gives a little bit of everything on the floor.
PF- Bobby Larmond- 6'8"- JR- Forced to play out of position at the C spot last season, the addition of Robinson Castro allows Bobby to slide back over to his more natural 4 position. Look for him to be in his element with plenty of rebounding and hustle out of the local fan favourite.
C- Robinson Castro- 6'10"- FR- Perhaps the biggest question mark on a team full of uncertainties, Castro was a last minute addition when much sought after 3 star recruit Koko Huff made a last second decision to stay close to home and sign with Boston College. Castro brings the much needed length that the Terriers have lacked in past years, but what else will he bring with it? Time will tell.
PG- Glenn Ebong- 6'1"- SO- A change of pace from the speedy Tim Daley, Ebong provides a stronger force from the 1 position, and with his good court vision, the ball will move very freely when Ebong is running the show, as well, his good midrange game will allow him to play off Daley in the back court at times.
SG- Marin Bey- 6'5"- SO- The Terriers resident 3 point specialist, Bey is a deadly shooting swingman who will provide relief for Hernandez and Hess.
More to come soon....
