Re: FBCB - Savannah State: From Rags to Riches

    Good january for Savannah State

In a january that kept all supporters of Savannah State content, the university's basketball program cruised to 2-3 record, who got them their best monthly-winning record this season (.400%). Most convinced this month Alekos McGrand, who scored in every game in double figures.

    Code:
     Savannah State 2012 Season Schedule

      Date Opponent Result Record
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      01.05.13 Hampton (15-4) L 70-52 4-12 (1-5)
      01.07.13 Bethune-Cookman (4-13) W 69-58 5-12 (2-5)
      01.14.13 at Hampton (15-4) L 95-65 5-13 (2-6)
      01.26.13 Delaware State (10-8) L 84-55 5-14 (2-7)
      01.28.13 at Howard (5-16) W 69-66 6-14 (3-7)
Coming up in February, the Tigers have to compete in a difficult schedule. Also from a subjective point of view, a 1-4 record may be highly likely.

Good luck in February. It would be nice to get some momentum going before heading into conference tournament time.

Hopefully you can beat Howard again and pick up a win against SC State.
